Founders 2 Lot Gates

This past week I realized there aren’t any gates for Founders 2 anymore. I know they switched to Honk or whatever, but what’s stopping people from just going in and parking without paying? I walked through the lot omw to sirc and didn’t see any tickets so I’m just curious. Thanks!

People just park in there. They only seem to ticket if you aren’t in a parking spot. It’s annoying for those of us who have parking passes and can’t find parking

Ah man that sucks, I park off campus and commute so ppl just parking there would totally annoy me too

They are using cameras and image recognition off your license plate. I've seen them out there scanning past.

They have done some ticketing, but not a ton yet.

Ahhh that makes sense. I’ve seen the parking staff drive around the parking lots but haven’t seen them do anything, so that clears this up for me, thanks!

Maybe we should set up a camp and occupy land on the campus to get our way? We can set up a list of demands...
