Humble Comics Bundle: Masters of the Craft: A Megabundle by Valiant Entertainment

https://www.humblebundle.com/books/masters-craft-megabundle-valiant-entertainment-books

It’s another Valiant bundle! They even have the “Legends of the Geomancer” miniseries which have never been collected!

A mix of 105 trade collections and single issues of classic Valiant.

For only $20!

It’s a steal.

Only $5 if you're just interested in Legends of the Geomancer!

Oh damn, good catch. My bad. Looks like you have to spend $20 if you want all 4 issues.

I may have paid $20 per issue. It has been so long I don't remember.

Admittedly, the quality is a mixed bag with these. Some are good quality PDFs, while others are unfortunately on the low side. The X-O Manowar books are decent quality. Some of the Archer and Armstrong books are decent quality.

They have the event books like Book of Death, Armor Hunters and Harbinger Wars, but again, varying quality among the books.

I’ll support. Thanks Valiant.

I have a couple of questions that maybe some of you can help me with.

These are just DRM free PDFs, right? If I want to read them on an iPad, what’s the best way to go about doing that? Can I just upload them to something like Google Drive and then download as I want to read?

Also, how big are the files? For anybody that has already purchased this maybe what’s the total file size for the bundle? I probably don’t need to load the whole thing but maybe I would load one series and read that and then load a different one.

Does this include pretty much all of the classic stuff (minus Shadowman which someone else mentioned is not included)?

I’m used to reading via Marvel unlimited on my iPad, so that’s what I have experience with as far as, books on the iPad go.

I’m really curious, because back in the day I read many of these series as they were coming out, and I’d like to reread them as well as finally have an opportunity to read the ones that I never picked up in the 90s. This seems like a pretty good deal.

What does everyone think? Thanks!

I like to use the app Chunky. You can link up a google drive and read easy there. Auto sorts your series and good reading experience imo

Thank you! I'll take a look at that!
