Vegan naturopath

Post image

Hey everyone! I'm new to the page and wanted to introduce myself. My name is Malina and I am a mom of 2, vegan and a naturopathic practitioner! I share a lot of meal ideas and recipes on my socials but now that I've finally joined Reddit I'm excited to do the same thing here!

Here's what my vegan kids had for breakfast this morning:

Lentil breakfast patty, broccoli sprouts, beet sauerkraut, sourdough english muffin with PB and apples

How did you make the lentil patty?

You can make a patty (use less water), flatbread, burrito wrap or pizza crust just by soaking lentils (preferably over night), rinsing the water clean and adding as much water to the container so it just covers the lentils, mix to a pancake batter-like batter and bake in the oven. I don’t know how this is made in the picture but I make this recipe every day from sprouted green lentils. Red lentils works for sweet dishes too! The best recipe ever!

I cook green/brown lentils and then blend with rolled oats, freshly ground flax seeds, aminos, herbs and some water to get a dog food like consistency (it looks foul) then shape patties and cook on the stove in a little coconut oil

One kid likes it topped with PB and the other likes the patty plain
