They aren't back. It's one game. I plan to go right back to ignoring them. I just love Black Flag... and that's what this is. Only prettier with a little more content and the weakest parts toned down.

Yeah I love Black Flag. And I will definitely get this remake….. in about a 6 months when it’s half off or more.

Is there any word on removing or improving the tailing missions? I loved black flag but never finished it becuase following people for hours was infuriating!

The trailer says the auto fails are removed and now the mission changes a bit if you're discovered and you have to fight.

Yes... they just had there big reveal at noon today. They've revamped the tailing missions. You're no longer an instant fail when spotted. They then showed you... basically killing them all. That part was a bit confusing. Can you just... kill who you're tailing? Either way they've changed them.

Ah well, it's just the op said the 'weakest parts toned down' and there's not much ive fpund weaker in gaming than those missions.

The talling missions have gotten a complete rework and you can see it in the "direct" they dropped
