Not this templar theory that birds are actually assasin sect members in disguise again. I know the noises they make sound a lot like a camera shutter and they have recharging stations spread around their patrol areas and that the full fledged members make an "eagle cry" when they download the data from the other birds......okay maybe you are onto something.
True, but I think most people here are interested in gameplay. Me perosnally, I still like how AC 4 looks like, we will see for the new one. To be fair though I always liked sunny looking games, that's why I still think FC3 looks good and why KCD1 and 2 look good.
As for the gameplay at first I was like this looks RPG like, but they said that you can do 4 chain takedown. I do wish that they added instant counter attack, instead of stunning an opponent then counter attacking, now that I think about it, in their RPG titles, they should have added instant coutner attack as a skill.
I think they added double counter back, but I don't know. I wish they added double tool takedown.
The ship combat looks good, but they couldn't go wrong there since it was always RPG-esqe, I do hope they add charging ram mechaninc from AC rouge, since they added double shot cannon based on the trailer.
That's a wild take about KCD1... It's overwhelmingly too sunny. Everything is washed out. The next gen update fixed this somewhat but it still rains without any overcast
lol I was going to post this. Bird makes screen space reflection fuck the image. I would've expected Ubisoft to support ray tracing and use that for water reflections in their demo.
I noticed this for the first time in the original Dying Light. There's a bunch of birds and stuff in the air. It made the space feel very real. That game blew me away when it came out.
100%. I've been saying this for years. Birds and critters missing from survival games and mmos make the world feel flat and fake. One of the first MMOs, Ultima Online, had critters and birds back in the 90s and for some reason, here in 2026, people are still making MMOs and survival games without. It goes a long way to making a world feel real.
The only argument I have is that since they use SSR it makes the water look messed up. I understand the performance aspects but it breaks my immersion.

Kinda neat how adding birds makes a difference in terms of making a world feel real
