Its almost ironic the way I’ll be sailing the high seas for this game

That sub would be good if half of it’s complaints weren’t about “wokeness.”

Literally a post whining about Kay Vess being ugly and then they used the most unflattering, poorly timed, glitched out images possible. Could make Lara Croft ugly with the shots they used.

Their biggest crime lately is making a ton of expensively produced, kinda lackluster, mediocre games.

Hiring multiple dev studios and teams to all work in pure competition with each other for 2 to 3 years and then axing 90% of the teams to go with the most "analytically friendly easy to monetize" option. Which often times ends up being a really sub-par or lackluster game.

Look at Skull & Bones dev history. And look at how many more recent teams were let go.

Ubisoft survives not because they're actually hitting sales targets. They're living on the Canadian and Quebecois government subsidies and bursaries. With Skull & Bones, they managed to live off other foreign government subsidies and bursaries as well.

It's funny they're doing this Resync right after Skull & Bones flopped because all we needed was a multiplayer Black Flag. How'd they fail to create a game they've already made, and are now remastering?

Because they couldn't figure out how to keep the game fun and monetize it, which honestly wouldn't even have been that hard.

I stopped buying from Ubisoft a long time ago. I'm honestly still worried for this remake.

Funny thing is that both Resynched and Skull & Bones are both under Ubisoft Singapore so they clearly have the talent to make a good game. No idea wtf happened to Skull & Bones.

Ubisoft games tend to commit the biggest crime in gaming, they are boring.

Yeah and abuse and harassment stuff…

What sucks is their smaller games, like those two Prince of Persias, actually seem really awesome! But it’s still Ubisoft, and I still can’t bring myself to pull the trigger on either of them

I feel like the timing of their announcement against the growing popularity of games like Windrose is kind of shitty. I imagine they've been working on the game for some time of they're announcing it but I mean... Come on. Take your Skull & Bones L and let someone else have the spotlight for a minute.

And yet, in the end, it'll be the employees that get fucked over, not the executives.

Is this easy to do in 2026 with everything being so internet heavy?

I remember sailing back in the mid 00s and it was so comically easy.

So fucking real. I have never in my life pirated a game but ubisoft genuinely just might make me go over the edge (granted it should have happened with disco elysium, but since I went into it blind I didn't know about the controversy, so I accidentally lines ZA/UM's pockets)

The question is if the game will even be worth pirating

I paid for shadows. Power went out. Couldn’t play it bc of their launcher. F Ubisoft
