Robin Williams used to play Vanilla WoW. His guild knew it was him, and they were very protective of his privacy.

I remember hearing that Kate Beckinsale also played WoW back in the day and her guild was similarly protective of her.

If I’m remembering correctly she was in a raiding guild and told some of the officers because she wasn’t logging in for months at a time when she was off making a movie.
