On the bright side his other horror stuff has been phenomenal, so at the very least he knows how to play to the horror aspect

Watching his interviews... It's very clear he has a huge love for the series so I'm stoked

This. I think the opposite direction of what everyone is talking about is also bad. I don’t want a 1-to-1 remake of Resident Evil 1 - I can just play the game and it will also never live up to what I have in my mind from RE1R. Zach Creggar is a fan of the games and is a damn good horror director.

As long as he maintains the feeling, and makes a good movie, that’s all I want.

Barbarian I found to be mid and Weapons to be trash. I'm not hopeful for resident evil and I'm fully expecting it to be bad.
