This is just wild. PlayStation wanted to end their partnership with Hideo Kojima. So Xbox was like: "Your loss."

This year is really starting to feel like an inverse of 2014 when Xbox ruined their public image with some insane Always Online DRM requirements and PlayStation capitalized on that.

that game will lose sony money, Death Stranding 2 was money lose.

Death stranding 2 was also a sequel to an original IP, DS1, that was fairly divisive upon its original release and has a gameplay loop that appeals to a pretty niche audience of gamers. Kojima has made many commercially successful games before, including MGS V.

It’s too early to know what Physint will be like but it think Sony cutting off the next project of one of the most critically acclaimed devs of all time who has shown he’s capable of making commercial hits is a majorly boneheaded move considering their current standing.
