Image / Video Two minute apart from each other
This is just wild. PlayStation wanted to end their partnership with Hideo Kojima. So Xbox was like: "Your loss."
This year is really starting to feel like an inverse of 2014 when Xbox ruined their public image with some insane Always Online DRM requirements and PlayStation capitalized on that.

All they had to do was keep sailing steadily on making their massive amount of money and they would have have continued crushing. Instead they seem intent on making every bad decision possible in order to squeeze out a few extra percentage points of profit short term.
Tin foil hat would say this is intentional to help Xbox out as competition is actually healthy. But of course it’s not, it’s just greed.
Read a funny study for work the other day about Ford quality control. They fired something like 7000 people back in the late 20 teens to save money/ increase profits. Build quality obviously tanked, over the next few years the retroactive repairs and lawsuits cost them more than they saved by firing those people. The next ceo went on a massive restructure to get more people back into those QC roles. You can’t make this shit up how global “elite” companies operate because they are run by a “business” graduate who buried their head in figures and nothing else.
Same thing with Boeing. Went from “the” plane you imagined when you thought about international travel to a literal meme about them being deathtraps all because they replaced their upper management which was engineer based, with business degree upper management.
