im deaf, so QTEs doesnt apply to me but I had issues with audio based hints or plainly missing audio based clues (Ocarina of Time Lost Woods have Saria's Song playing through it for example- I didnt get it and so wandered until I found the right location, or others guided me thorugh other games using audio based hints)
In Dispatch it's called Cinematic Mode I believe. It's the superior way to play as you can just chill, watch the story and then make decisions when you need to. The hacking and management minigames are better than QTEs.
The quick time events in dispatch didnt mean anything tho lmfao. Failing them just had the cutscene play out slightly different you still progressed to the next part like it never happened 😂
Id rather they just not have them if they dont "matter" tbh. Just give me a cutscene since you know how you want it to play out anyway devs lmao
Anything that happens in the ending is by direct choice. Who you choose to recruit. Whether you forgive their betrayal, who you decide to date, and like 3 options at the end.
Some mission stuff might matter but again thats mission stuff lmao.
Incorrect. There's a variable that determines whether Visi will get the good ending or bad ending, which is determined by missions you send her on succeeding or failing, dialogue and story choices, some hacks, and certain QTEs
Nah pretty sure its just whether you dont snub her and say I trust you lmao.
I did not date her nor did I do her shit perfectly she still got her redemption because I simply chose to believe in her and forgive her lmao
Ill concede that even having cutscenes play out different is enough a reason to add qte because hey youre treated with content regardless. But in most games where you dont die its mostly pointless lol.
It isn't. You can look this up, you're just wrong about this.
You can make all the right decisions in dialogue and still get the bad ending if you're bad enough at the game, or the reverse if you're good enough at it, it's just more difficult

I don't mind them removing QTEs or auto-completing QTEs if it's an accessibility feature the player chooses.
Some gamers disabilities that gives them trouble with QTE events.
I believe in Dispatch, you could, as an accessibility option, turn them off and you'd auto-pass every QTE event. I like that option for people.
However, if you're going to keep QTEs in your game, have repercussions for failure to complete it timely!
