Have you ever considered that other people have different opinions on what is fun and that doesn't make them babies?

I don't enjoy FromSoft style bosses because I don't like replaying the same content over and over. I'm an adult with a job, I don't want to waste my free time. A challenge is fine, but something that's explicitly designed to fuck me over until I memorize it like a speed run isn't fun to me.

It’s not about memorization or speed running. It’s about strategy, learning to adapt, and mastery of technique

Well I posted my question as a poll so yes I literally considered that other people have different opinions about difficulty and tried to learn more.

If you want games to be easy good for you, I hope you’re having fun. I play some easy games too. That said, there is a giant gap between souls games and games having zero fail state. Somewhere in there, right around the point where it literally doesn’t matter what you do you will still succeed, I start to wonder if the person even likes videos games, or if they just need the dopamine hit from being told they’re doing a good job.

That wasn't what they asked, though. They didn't ask:

Have you ever considered that other people have different opinions on what is fun?

If you out half this effort into learning to play games maybe you wouldn’t have to be so defensive towards my opinion.

I haven't said anything defensive. I just pointed out that your answer doesn't match their question.
