Which is why I appreciate games that can transfer stats to different cosmetics.

I remember how in Assassin's Creed 2, the final secret armor with the best stats...was also the most badass looking. This is how every game should be.

Even AC couldnโt replicate this. The Armor of Brutus in Brotherhood was ugly as sin and they just kept getting worse from there. Fuck me for finding all the Mayan Stelaeโs in Black Flag I guess.

I don't give af if the armor as the worst stats in the game lol as long as it's looks cool I'm wearing it till the end of the game ๐

This is the way. Most games also let you upgrade armor so it's not that big of an issue.

Exactly anyone who plays RPG's know that's a fact. Even in a game the great designs are a lot less valuable and usable yet armor that looks like random clothes sometimes gave elite stats ๐

Destiny 2 before Ornaments became a thing. At least it happened before I stopped playing.ย

It never used to be this way, then companies realised people would pay to look cool and now here we are! Throw in a transmog system and it's a perfect micro transaction storm

I canโt imagine how the hunters in Monster Hunter would look like before layered armor was a thing
So glad we could do that, now fashion is the true endgame

Correct me if I'm wrong but I remember being able to switch the look of a character in Baldurs Gate

Honestly I don't mind it cuz sometimes it's funny but I do like transmog still so I can look cool
