Try r/FilmTVlogos they might know. (full disclaimer I run the sub, but I don't know, the newer one was made by Prologue so maybe someone from there made the original?)

It's like they predicted what 3D resin printing would look like. That was sick.

Looks like bismuth. Really impressive for 1991. Still looks good if a little basic.

Fantastic work for the time! Conceptually simple, but the execution was artifact free!
