Back in 2022 I won the Shaun made by Will Becher from Aardman as part of a charity collaboration and last month I won the Very Small Creature puppets from the Prop Store auction. Finally got a suitable display case for them, just need to find a spot in the house!

Hi, it's me again. I got back from Bristol yesterday after going on a 9 hour trip (around 4 and a half hours there and back). We went at 5am lol.

I got to meet Nick Park, it was great! I even got to shake his hand lol 🥹

Anyways I know people are trying to scalp both the signed copies and some of the goodies that we got along with the book so I figured I'd try and digitally scan the goodies (Sorry for the "ehh" quality on the bonuses, my printer/scanner isn't the greatest but free is free)

What would you guys think of a W&G game compilation?

I was sorta inspired by Toy Story Retro Roundup which came out like 2 days ago and the whole Movie Tie in remasters like Shrek 2

If Dreamworks and Pixar can rerelease their old movie tie in games, so can Aardman. (Also the best bet would likely to get Digital Eclipse to develop it)

IDEAS:

As seen in Image 1 and 2, those are the games I would include. The DOS Edutainment games would 100% need to be controlled using a virtual mouse if not being played on a PC and IDK if they could get the rights to release "The Grand Tour" considering it IS a prototype for a completely different game after all but one can dream

As for the menu's, I believe that it'd look like the living room wallpaper with the game's box art (and other selections such as bonus features) serving as the pictures

Visiting Bristol soon with my husband, just the two of us. Really want to book the Wallace and Gromit escape room but have read it’s not advisable with less than 3 people…they seem to have changed the rules so you can now book for just 2, but they strongly advise a 3 person minimum. Has anyone done it with 2 or could give advice on whether it’s doable? Neither of us have done an escape room before so we’re also beginners!

Just finished being at An Evening With Nick Park. I absolutely loved it.

Nick really delved into how they made all the animations, the story making and the whole Aardman journey!

My favourite bit was when he said they used marigold gloves to make the walking sound of Feathers McGraw haha!

Did anyone else go? What were your thoughts?

Used plasticine (of course) for the head and legs as well as the base of the body and tail, which I covered in torn up cotton wool pads pressed very tightly onto the plasticine.

I love seeing gromit in normal gromit position on all fours, usually his soft toys are on two legs.

And man is he soft! I'll be getting one of these next time I'm in Tesco 😂

What are your thoughts on a) Gromit finding his voice and b) Martin Freeman being cast?
