WSB-ers believe MM purposefully trigger stop losses to shake people out of their positions before πŸš€ing is why

I'm only holding shares and have not set stop losses but with how shaky the market is maybe I should start. I feel like holding is the best option anyways. But ye, for options it's different.

Yeah, you're right. And I'm fine with it; more often than not my stops keep me from stupid things rather than prevent brilliant ones.

Always best to preserve capital for the next big play than to lose it all and have it be game over πŸ˜„πŸ‘ I love that philosophy

They actually do, the market is sporadic as so to hit stop losses and early take profits so people don’t win too much

Like me today. I bought weekly puts
OTM yesterday at 771 strike for $1.90 each contract. Sold all 3 at $4.20 today thinking no way it goes lower. lol the high of the contract was like $10.90

well I'm talking about micro volatility, but also market movers plan things a certain way for their benefits.

Actually we do, but not the MMs alone. Exchanges, especially in crypto, can do it and hunt your orders with hidden orders
