Approved the post because Ramp is rapidly raising at higher valuations, an IPO seems inevitable. Ramp does a lot of bootleg advertising, so that's what this ramp probably is, but there's still a good broader discussion.

When making posts like this, I like to include financials, valuations, or other details so we can have a good conversation around investing and trading. So I'm adding those below:

Ramp today announced a $1.85 billion primary financing round led by Dragoneer Investment Group, valuing the company at $60 billion.

More than 85,000 companies use Ramp to manage over $275 billion in annualized purchase volume, up 175% year over year. Together, they save more than $1 billion every month. The median customer now saves 7.5%, up from 5% a year ago, and completes transactions with 22% less manual work. That's 50% more savings on every dollar spent than a year ago, giving customers more money to put back into their businesses.

Key Company Stats as of October 1, 2026

  • Over $2 billion in annualized revenue, with positive cash flow. 85,000+ customers, including Visa, Uber, Shopify, Robinhood, Fanatics, Notion, Cursor, The Denver Broncos, and The Boys and Girls Club.

  • Over $275 billion in annualized purchase volume.*

  • Median customer: 7.5% savings and 16% revenue growth in their first year.

With this round, Ramp has raised approximately $5 billion in total equity financing.

I mean, it would be pretty dope if they pulled Tony Hawk out for the IPO launch.

Brick, where did you get a debit spread?

"I don't know."

I hope so. Their product is actually very good and getting exposure through funds is rough

I agree - I've always hated every single expense management tool I've had to deal with (Dynamics, Oracle Cloud and Concur suck absolute ass, Expensify is okay-ish) but Ramp is fucking amazing. Drag and drop all your receipts, add a note, get an e-transfer (in Canada) 48 hours later. It just works.

Yeah, everyone who uses Ramp loves it (which is INCREDIBLY rare for fintech - especially accounting). They have huge potential.

I'm at their biggest competitor and we're printing money too. That's unfortunately why I'm not sure an IPO is anytime soon for them or us. We literally don't need the money. In business banking, you get to keep the interest you see. Nobody expects HYSA rates.

What’s ramp?

A sloping surface or plane

6

u/siliconsoul_ 5h ago

A plane?

10

u/Tha_Sly_Fox 5h ago

A two-dimensional surface that extends infinitely in all directions and has no thickness, or a fix winged vehicle designed for air travel

I work in consulting and have a lot of PE-backed platform roll ups as clients. They all love Ramp and are rushing to implement it across all the PortCos.

I’ll invest in Ramp post IPO

Typical ramp astroturfing this post is - watch this get downvoted

1

u/robgronkowsnowboard 1h ago

It’s getting downvoted because it’s stupid

-2

u/SalehHulud 5h ago

Seems like pretty weak sauce marketing

5

u/Longjumping_Bad5724 5h ago

why would they choose NYSE to do marketing though? unless its them going public

4

u/Calm-Driver-3800 5h ago

They did have a cool commercial with tony hawk and bam. It appeals to gen xers and millenials who are of investing age and should have some funds.
