Gui and Yax are the most versatile wing combo we have in quite some time. Both got size, can rebound, can defend, can shoot, can pass, Yax even flash some ball handling and play making skills.
If Podz can imitate Steph to roughly equal 80% of Steph then we got ourselves a very exciting trio of young ish players.

We dont need Podz to imitate Steph. That would mean heavier on ball creation, which he is NOT proficient at.
What he is good at is OFF-BALL MOVEMENT. He keeps moving a lot, like a klay, like a Steph, cutting a lot. He's shown to be a very good play finisher in pre-season. If he just keeps running around to tire defenders out, hits the spot up three, catch and go moves, that's honestly great.
Ok, so KINDA like Steph.

Podz dilemma is heβs the perfect back up because he can do most things at passable level to fill minutes; but heβs not really elite or great at one particular skill to get starter minutes.
Weβll see what he really improves come regular season and playoffs this year. I imagine the haircut and big pay day should be giving him some power boost, enough for him to gofrom Cory Joseph to Jarrett Jack level

Look at how far off they play dray. And this is preseason with poorly coached teams. Once season hits itβs gonna be a nightmare to play 4v5 with this guy on offense

Man, my impression of Clingan just dropped a mile. Who leaves Steph alone?!?

When executed well, it really is a beauty and a joy to watch. When notβ¦

I think it's been a few seasons since we've seen that kind of ball movement
