π HYPE π Receipts! We know the schedule of opponents, we saw summer league and preseason games, we know our starters, and now the roster is now set. The season starts this Wednesday. What do you predict the Wizards record will be for 2026-2027? π€

44-38 Trae Young and Keyshawn George make the all star team πͺπ»

I second this comment. Seeing how competitive the east is, I think all of the playoff teams will be between 42-55 wins. If health is on our side, I see us winning between 44-48 games.

I'm not doing the math on how possible this is, but I think there's going to be 13 teams between 35 and 55

38-44, 10th seed, 12th pick in the 2027 draft (Arafan Diane - C - Houston - 7β0 280lbs)
Think favoritism/politics may cost us some wins early. Once the final rotation gets figured out the team should hit its stride and make the play-in. We add an elite prospect in the 2027 draft, replace Keefe with a better coach and keep on building towards a championship in DC!

How's 2027 draft class? I hear its near 2024 levels of bad.

Nah definitely not as bad as 2024. Its a solid class with decent depth, just lacking flashy "superstar" talent at the top.

I think its worse. But I am not following as close as I was with the '24

32-50, tangible improvement over being intentionally mega bad but our roster isn't deep enough to deal with Trae or AD missing games. Hopefully a good building year for AJ, Kyshawn and Sarr but I have no expectations for this group as constructed. Also you have to factor in that our opponents have less incentive to tank which means fewer potential wins in March/April.

33-49, Just outside the play-in | Infinitely better outcomes and far more competitive games all year. | AD gets traded at the deadline for a pick and player.

40-42 I predict. Once we see Trae Youngβs offense warm up.

A sober 37 wins with high highs and some frustrating lows. Would be ecstatic with anything above .500

I'm going to be very optimiatic and go with 45-37. Thats just under .55 win%. Probably one of the better case scenarios so I won't be too disappointed even if they finish below .500. As long as the young guys continue to meaningfully progress their games, anywhere above 40 wins will be a huge step in the right direction.Β

Think preseason showed at full strength we can hang with some better teams and will also have moments where we have fits on the road against scrappy teams we may have more talent than like the nets and pelicans. 42-40

Fuck it 48 - 34, AJD is ROY, Trae is 3rd Team All NBA and AD and Sarr are 1st team All D. Also we blow Tornoto out in Rd 1, Beat .Boston in Rd 2, Philly in Rd 3, and sweep OKC.

36 to 40 wins is most likely. 45 would be absolute ceiling I think. Every game AD misses, which will probably be at least 15, we are going to struggle on D.

34-48 AJ is RoY, AD is a Rocket, Trae shoots 29% from 3, Kyshawn is an All Star

40-42. We will start fast and look hot at 8-2 then drop to 14-18 by new year. Claw back to 500-ish at ASB and a nail biter to sneak into play-in w decent seed at 7 or 8.

I would be happy with a 38-44 season, and ecstatic with anything more than 41-41
