This was my very first experience with the Resident Evil franchise, which led me to create and publish my very first webcomics.
Life can be full of surprises.
Peace and Love, Shiki 💚

It's absolutely amazing to find what little things to many, are instead huge to others. Much like how RE influenced your life, mine was heavily influenced by Metal Gear Solid. I got entranced by all of the cool tech and symbolism, and in just MGS1 alone many of its elements with the story transformed into core interests for me growing up. Became a therian, got huge into mechs and cybernetics, I got into nuclear weapons and energy (because they just had to go into detail how effective a stealth nuke could be via railgun, sending me down a rabbit hole of how nuclear weapons worked. Which then got me interested in the atomic sciences), complex stories, and even laid out a foundation for an interest in political science.
Stay inspired, Shiki <3

"When I was fresh out of the factory they played Doom on me and they were happy! I can't be having with any of that true 3D nonsense!"

I was about to say if it could run San Andreas, it wasn't such an old PC, but yeah, if you've experienced the "this game can't run/barely runs because of hardware limitations" you've experienced an old pc

Leaving the monitor grey in the last panel was a great touch, excellent as always!

Reminds me of people new to darksouls 1. Darksouls 1 after the tutorial asylum has you start in firelink shrine, which has 3 separate paths you need to go down eventually, however there's one thats the intended first route, some people never notice it and keep on banging their heads against the route that sends you into the endgame catacombs never realizing till much later.
Also makes me think of a darksouls 2 playthrough where I was miserable due to messed controls making me kick anytime I got near combat. Kicking is slow and does no damage, while still eating your stamina. Turns out I was just using a very crappy controller with slight stick drift. I was also doing a challenge run.
