Decor/DIY DIY Table Numbers

Post image

I've been looking for used table numbers on Facebook Marketplace, but none of them stood out to me. I wanted to be unique, so ruminated a little bit and came up with a brilliant idea (I acknowledge it's been done before, but I thought of it on my own).

Talavera Tile Table Numbers

My venue has a Spanish architecture style with decorative tiles spread throughout the exterior. My plan is to DIY tiles like the ones photographed above, but custom design each one. I've started drafting the designs in Canva and my plan is to then sketch the designs in pencil onto the tiles and then paint and glaze. I've ordered all the supplies off Amazon for under $50 and they arrive within the next few days. I'll report back, but I'm super excited for this DIY because of the personal touch it adds. Will report back on the results when available !

I love anything Talavera! (Spouse is half Spanish). These are awesome.

If you ever need a side hustle, do this and hit me up!

Hahaha I’m sure this project is going to be a test of my patience! Not sure it’ll be that fun of a side hustle, but will keep you updated!

Okay I have to see the rest! My husband is Mexican and our kids are half. I love this style!

(May add some inspiration to the house we plan to build, haha).

Hahha I’ll post pics of the results… hopefully they turn out as great as I’m envisioning. I love the pinterest photos of houses with this style!
