Jonathan Richman fucks
Before 12GCG’s, Jonathan Richman, of Modern Lovers fame, paved a small sidewalk to walk upon. With absolutely zero research, if gener and deaner were unaware of this, I’d be so surprised. This album is wonderful and I just found it. Boognish works in mysterious ways.

Love Jonathan, "Corner Store" is my personal favorite from that album.

When She Started to Ride is also so bittersweet, a normal song of that type might be when someone you liked stops talking to you because they fell in love with someone else, but that one is just this girl found her passion and is so happy now :’)

I love Jonathan Richman. I'm So Confused is a classic that gets spun in my house regularly. The album in OPs post is awesome too.

He's an amazing man! I bought my boyfriend tickets to see him last year for christmas. We went this february for his show and ended up catching him at the end while he was quietly loading his truck. My boyfriend works in AV and they had a whole discussion about his sound set up that he was so excited to talk about. He asked for no posed pictures together with the few others out there and for us, but gave some hugs.
He's genuine, humble, and totally talented!

Since She Started to Ride and You're the One For Me are my favorites, he's one of the best singer songwriters. The Satisfied Mind cover is perfect too
