📣Discussion 📣 Soooo this happening to anyone else?

Post image

The artwork is split on the top and bottom of my IVC Pinkerton, not exactly happy but not much I can really do. Just wanna see if I’m alone or not.

Well I’m pretty sure I saw one like that for sale then. So maybe it is an issue

It happens with many records.

You’re not alone. Mine was actually worse than this. Huge disappointment.

If this is happening to multiple people, it might be worth emailing customer support. The more the merrier.

This is a common problem with shipping vinyl in general. The record itself bounces up and down inside the sleeve during transit, causing these seam splits. I've it's at its worst when an LP is shipped in a cardboard mailer and then tossed into a larger box with some bubble wrap.

You'll find many smaller companies (record stores, mainly) will even offer to open brand new records and ship the vinyl outside of the sleeve in order to avoid this.

Incredibly frustrating, I know. Just trying to explain the cause.
