Fan Art Beautiful Fan Artwork by UTAU-Mizuki
I just had to share this because LOOK AT IT. 🥹🖤
The incredibly talented UTAU-Mizuki created this beautiful fan art inspired by my fic Take Us Somewhere Dark, and I genuinely adore it.
What makes it even more impressive to me is that they said they’re not particularly familiar with Dungeons & Dragons, but somehow they still captured the feeling of the story perfectly.
The darker fantasy atmosphere.
Wednesday’s energy.
That whole sense of stepping into another world while still somehow feeling completely like her.
It’s honestly surreal every single time somebody tells me something I wrote inspired them to make art. Writing these stories is something I do because I love them, so seeing someone take that story and create something completely new from it is such an incredible gift. 🥹
Thank you so much, UTAU-Mizuki, for making this and for letting me share it. I absolutely love it. 🖤💖
Please go show the artist some love:
If you’d like to read the fic this artwork was inspired by, you can find Take Us Somewhere Dark here: 🖤

Fan Art Art by @.hicchi_23 (X)
What if Enid appeared in Wednesday's vision as the murderer?
From ff either way, what a bliss

Fanfiction The Nevermore Conservatoire for Assassins: Chapter Thirteen
The Nevermore Conservatoire for Assassins: Chapter Thirteen
I'm not dead! Just a lil slow and stretched thin these days.
BUT! To make up for it, this chapter is on the longer side, and has lots of good Wenclair moments. Mostly Wednesday being confused about being attracted to Enid, which is *chef's kiss* one of my favourite things.
(Oh, and I guess they are still training as assassins!)

Fanfiction Looking for long fic recs <3
Ok so basically I’m looking for a longer fic to read around like 200k + words if possible.
Currently I’ve read chaos for the fly but for me it was, not smutty enough? So then I read in the heat of the moment which was WAYYY too smutty for me.
I’d say dead and the dancing has been my favourite so far
Getting to the point does anyone know of long fics with smut just without smut being the only focus of the fic.
EDIT - thanks so much for all the recs making a list now <3

Spoilers I still can’t believe that Wenclair in Paris is actually going to be a thing in canon
Just when you thought these girls had checked off every gothic romance trope out there they go and give us THIS. Like what in the canon AO3 fanfic is this!?

Discussion Over reliance on Hydes has caused detrimental damage to lore building
(I would post this on the main subreddit where it is probably more relevant, but that place frightens me when it comes to this topic)
In my opinion, the over reliance on building lore for hydes has caused the rest of the world building to fall a tad flat
There’s so much that the show could do with a society of people who are hated and feared by the world at large, just look at the Xmen for inspiration lol
I want to see how they function in the modern day, how does a gorgon go through an airport, how do they know that they arent smuggling stuff under their hat, how do they check if they actually are a gorgon and not faking it, stuff like that…
What happens if a werewolf is on a plane on the full moon?
(I swear my questions arent entirely plane based lol)
It just feels like there’s the potential for a deep and rich world (one I have seen glimpses of in fanfic lol) but any exposition is being spent detailing increasingly convoluted lore for the one outcast which I find quite boring, I mean it’s literally the hulk lol, Hydes turn into a big grey rage monster when angry…
(I mean they could have even done something about the outcasts being hypocrite and hating hydes but not seeing how that’s just like how normies hate them, but they kinda screwed the pooch on that by making them really rare and having nobody have heard of them…)
