Discussion God i miss their breakfast
A lot of mornings, my mom and I would go there. I would always get their bacon breakfast burrito, or the chicken bacon croissant (god that was good). My mom would get a sausage egg and cheese croissant. It was all good, but the potato wedges were truly spectacular, lowkey the main attraction imo. My local wendys got rid of breakfast a month ago. And now mornings have never been the same.
McDonald's breakfast sucks. It has one good item (mcgriddle) and the rest i can leave. Jack in the box is fine, but nothing better than something i could make at home and it was pretty spendy.
What i truly miss are the potato wedges. Hasbrowns are mid!

I empathize. Years ago a local restaurant that my mom and I frequented shut down. It was great Italian and we both missed it a lot. We decided to start cooking family dinners again and make it mostly Italian. We tried to mimic their dishes. It was great fun and makes for a wonderful memory now. Maybe you and Mom could start a homemade breakfast tradition.
