Bzzzzz! Hi, u/Macro_Mar! Looks like you forgot to say where you found your bug!
There's no need to make a new post - just comment adding the geographic location and any other info (size, what it was doing etc.) you feel could help! We don't want to know your address - state or country is enough; try to avoid abbreviations and local nicknames ("PNW", "Big Apple").
BTW, did you take a look at our Frequently Asked Bugs?

Species: Siproeta stelenes (Malachite Butterfly / Mariposa Malaguita) + a very curious fly 🪰 This happened back in May on a chilly winter afternoon during a family member's birthday party! Apparently, these two wanted to join the celebration as well. I spotted them resting together on a tree trunk like two dramatic aunties catching up on the latest neighborhood tea ☕️... and if you look closely, there's even a fly leaning in to listen! Either way, all three of them posed like absolute divas when I brought out my phone 💅💋 I captured this shot using just my smartphone and a clip-on macro lens to highlight their vibrant patterns and wings. 🎨 For fellow designers looking for vibrant organic textures and nature shots: High-res commercial licensing for my work is available via the Shutterstock link on my Reddit profile.
