yeah did you write the programming langauge? did you write the software you use to make the mod, the operatin system?

AI is a tool, use it, be creative. people will recognize whether it is good or not, and no one will eventually care what tools were used

Correct. I work as a software developer and by this point in time not using AI at all for creating new code is just silly, like not using stack overflow or internet forums 10-20 years ago.

Now proper enterprise code usage of AI is not like vibe coding but for a silly mod you made for a game even that would be OK imo.

You can hate AI art and you can hate AI companies and not be a Luddite who rejects a new technically with some clearly good applications.

Why? Seems like a good usage of the word no? Luddites are known to reject new tools of automation and people who reject any possible usage of any possible model of LLMs seems to me like a good example of that.

Because historicly it was a term used by the autority and the employers to discredit the demands from the workers in propaganda... It's a capitalist slur agaisnt workers...

Now today it's a slur used by extremist pros on the net to insult antis...

People don't know that Luddites were one of the earliest forms of worker unions.

They were against such things as child labour and worker exploitation.

And they were peaceful about it. And the answer from gov and ruling class? Literal death sentences.

Progress without regulation is just exploitation.

I know much of 'AI' can be useful. But it is not being used to be so. The same companies that people hate for GenAI also make vibe coding possible. They come from the same source and that is the issue.

AI is currently not being used to cure cancer. It is used to prop up a imaginary economy and try to cut workers off.

Until there is actual regulation in place, I have zero reason to trust or like AI as a whole. Including the potentially good things. Like copyright protection against AI ghouls would be a good start.

Sorry bud i know you think you wrote a book but you used a printing press to do the work for you. You wrote 1 copy, the press wrote 99999999 copies. That means you basically did fuck all and just used the 'do it for me' tool. Dont call yourself an author buddy i am very smart i hate technological advancement that i dont use and cant use and dont even understand
