The Viking FK arena surface

I saw this clip, and thought the surface looked artificial but so close to grass. Apparently it is indeed artificial. Surely if we take on a long term lease of BC Place, we should look to install something like this?

I was thinking of trying to go to this game just by chance but the hotels in Stavanger...not cheap haha

There's some irony there because they're giving out yellow cards for practically nothing.

At least it gives Bayern something to complain about instead of having to discuss the team’s performance.

Actually the turf is new and as much as I know they do not play concerts on it in fall and do not have american football played on it...

Whitecaps is a couple months old. It was awful from the outset.

The Lions used it before the Caps...

Its months old. Its not going to deteriorate like that. It's just a very bad surface. The old one was better.

What happens when the stadium owners consult neither team.

CFL use on the surface is minimal. If imagine scrubbing the paint is worse than the actual CFL game itself. Fair enough on the concerts, but there must be a better option than just putting metal sheets down on it?

And also, the BC Place surface is just bad. I was on the new one couldn't believe just have bad it felt underfoot. Pure plastic. There's better turf surfaces out there.
