What pray tell do the cabal types look like? These fuckers are scavengers that have people they take them to I would imagine. It's just a layer of separation like a low level drug dealer. The big bosses aren't out there grabbing people up so these types of people likely do a lot of the dirty work for them.

u/CeciNestPasUnPenname 2d ago
Most kidnappings are by somebody known to the victim.
Or whatever word you want to use. Abduction, forcible confinement, assault. The type of Ted Bundy stranger abductions of adult women that we think of when somebody says "kidnapping" are thankfully not common.
The men are still heroes for stepping in. That woman was still in real danger. Kidnapping your partner is more common than Ted-Bundy-esque abductions, but it is not normal behaviour even in an abusive relationship. It is a very escalated level of abuse.
89
u/FrogVolence 2d ago
Just recently a womans video went viral because she posted the dashcam footage of her ex breaking into her car while she was in it, holding her at knifepoint and kidnapped her.
He was going to kill her.
Its chilling how someone you knew, that you loved so much, would be the end of your life down the road.
23
u/Miss_Worldly 2d ago
The biggest threat to a woman is typically her husband. This isn't news. They think we are property to be used and discarded.
56
u/CeciNestPasUnPenname 2d ago
Yet so many people in this thread are advocating that these men are the problem because "if he knows her he's probably just trying to help her".
Big "I'll give Dahmer this boy back, he says he's his boyfriend and surely he'd never lie when questioned" energy.

Separating people in domestic disputes is what you are supposed to do. They can also be incredibly dangerous. She was trying to separate; dude was not letting her. These guys helped get to the solution.
31
u/TheSpanxxx 2d ago
That's what I was wondering. I expected to see a kid or young person. Soon as I saw her, my gut told me they may just have been breaking up a DV situation. She still needed help, and we should be better citizens in general. "See something, say something" isn't enough when you see someone violently attacking someone ans they are crying/screaming for help. It's "see something, DO something " at that point.
That said, removing and protecting her, is the best approach here, regardless if the assailant deserves a beat down or not. You never know what you are intervening in, so the safest action is always to help extract the victim from the situation, deescalate if you can, protect yourself and the victim, get assistance from authorities.
Now, if the situation is an adult hurting a child, I'm gonna go ahead and say rationality may get paused for a moment. If that had been a small child when they opened that door, I can't imagine anything but going RED with rage and wanting to take it out on the assailant.
→ More replies (1)22
u/CleverGirlRawr 2d ago
A domestic dispute, aka intimate partner violence, is just as deserving of an intervention as any other kind. They may have saved that woman’s life. Nobody is more dangerous to a woman statistically than their partner.

A couple years ago I was driving back home from a 2 hour drive and stopped at a gas station, and not an out of the way one either. This suv drives by as I’m getting in my car, they are going park and there is this lady in the back seat screaming for help and banging on the window. They were tinted, it was dark but I could make it out it was a woman. Some lady was driving too and she was trying to fight her. I called 911 and man, the number of cops that rolled up within minutes and surrounded that car was crazy.
This city is also known for being a small hub for trafficking. I don’t know what the outcome was but hopefully I saved someone’s life.

You are AWESOME!
If I can piggyback, there is a sign to look out for from victims of domestic and other violence that they make in public when they know they can’t ask for help because they are with their abusers: https://canadianwomen.org/signal-for-help/
I’d ask that you share it far and wide, it most likely saved the life of a woman here in California in September https://www.wymt.com/2025/09/06/victim-used-hand-signal-ask-help-with-escaping-domestic-violence-situation-police-say/

Little over 20 years ago I'm in Canada for a bachelor party. My friend and I walked back to the hotel to change around midnight or 1 am and were walking through some back streets to make our way to the meet up point more directly than main streets. Thank God, because we saw these two girls our age (early 20s) half a block in front of us walking a little tipsy and a car with three guys in it swerve over to the curb and grab one of them and throw her in their car.
My buddy and I immediately sprint to the car. He starts punching the driver and passenger. I grab the girl out of the back and punch the guy in the back as much as I could before turning my attention to the girl. We get out and they speed off. The girls are terrified and in shock. We make sure they're physically ok and whether they wanted police or an ambulance. They say they're ok and then we quietly walked from there all the way back to their hotel where they were meeting their friends.
It was a bachelorette party and they invited us in but it was their party and we had ours so we wished them well and left. I get goosebumps now because I'm a girl dad and I pray to God there are still guys like us out there willing to help.

So about 15 years ago as a bar manager who used to hang out with my coworkers, we had closed the bar down and were enjoy some shift drinks. Well one of our bartenders had gotten off earlier and got absolutely shit canned and was basically falling asleep at the bar. Well we were leaving and could not wake her up. So three men and her friend who was driving her basically carried her across the street, passed out. And at least 2 cars had driven past us.
We hung out for a bit and I am surprised, and disappointed nobody called the cops on us.
22
u/No_Criticism_5861 2d ago
While your actiond are honourable, you didnt call 911 at any point to report their license plate? I hope so, it might prevent them trying shit like this again, or if they had been caught before.... off to prison

In hindsight across two decades, sure I could have called law enforcement, but our thinking at the time was that we deferred to the young ladies not wanting to engage with police, had removed the threat and were with them the rest of the way, were in a foreign country ourselves, and neither my friend nor I got a plate and wouldn't have had much of a description to share other than 'white sedan' and three guys with brown or black hair.
I'm sure those guys got a scare out of it though given the zero fight they gave us. Everything with them was defensive face protection without any kind of counter or movement. I think three wimpy losers saw two tipsy girls walking down a pseudo alleyway and thought they just had to overpower one or both of them. Maybe more could have been done but I do believe they would have thought twice the next time.

Racism alone only truly occurs in people with low iq, eq, or both. A rational logical human with empathy is incapable of being racist since it would be a contradiction to all logic.
It’s hard to expect those who are on the dumber side of life to come to rational conclusions regarding scenarios involving various race(s) they’re racist against.

Racism is a mental illness and no one can tell me otherwise.
When racist people go on their little rants or get people upset to get a reaction, they get a dopamine hit, just like an addict would when they get their drug of choice. It literally rewires the brain in the same ways as addiction and it’s why it’s so hard to talk sense into these people.

There's also a whole lot saying she deserves to get beat to death because she has done drugs.... as a born Nebraskan, Americans are nuts with racism and sexism, usually the ones who haven't even been out of their home state (1 in 9).
→ More replies (1)8
u/Emergency_Basket_851 2d ago
I'll add, it goes even beyond racism and sexism. American culture is sick. Our view of consequences for actions has been so perverted by the rhetoric spouted by certain sectors of society.
Just because someone is a drug addict, does not mean they deserve death.
Just because someone is not cooperative with police, does not mean they deserve death.

Relevant story that you might need to know to understand how humans think.
~15 years ago, my next door neighbor was executed in our parking lot in full sight of my window. Once in the chest and then in the head for good measure. My neighbor had simply gone to the trunk of his car for something.
As you might imagine, I ran and hid in my closet wondering if this was just a mad man with a gun killing us all at random.
That is how people think when they are a witness actually inside of a traumatic situation.
Turns out the guy just wanted to kill my neighbor. RIP K.O.
I hope you will never have to know first had what it was like for me, my other neighbors, and the two guys in this video. Good on them for saving her and perhaps saving who knows how many other people. When you are actually IN this kind of situation, you won't be thinking "oh, 99% of these situations are DV, etc etc etc."

I helped save a kidnapping victim once. She crawled out the window of a trailer next door to the jobsite I was working at. Her hands and feet were tied up. She was being held captive by her ex husband, who had just gone on a beer run. It was pretty horrific. She smelled terrible and was all beat up. I have never before or ever since seen such terror in someone's eyes.

About 10 years ago I was working at el Chico in Garland, I closed regularly, and wed leave around midnight sometimes a bit later. I lived a couple blocks away and always drive myself, didn't want to disrupt the husband and kids that late. As I'm driving three trucks attempt to block me in and start slowing down, pushing me over to the right curb, I had enough mind to swerve left hitting one of the cars enough to speed up out of the box and thank God there was a cop at the next light, I sped up and almost hit him as the trucks took off to the right. I was a mess ... In tears and the officer knew what was happening asked me if I was okay to get home I nodded and he chased after the guys in the trucks .. I can only hope he got at least one ... Shit thing is when I got home and told my husband he didn't believe me, I was traumatized for months I wouldn't drive by myself. I don't think he believes me to this day. But divorce was a remedy for him. Too many people don't even believe this is a real thing. I'm glad someone was there for that woman. Regardless what it was she needed help. Seeing her face reminded me of that same feeling.

Me and two of my foster brothers stopped a weirdly similar attempt to this one by some dirty-looking dude to kidnap our foster sister. She was safe, but the foster parents sent all us boys to juvenile hall for the weekend when the cops responded (they were afraid he would sue their homeowner's insurance). He left in an ambulance, though.
They picked us up the following Monday when the man turned out to be a known pimp/trafficker. The DA gave each of us a nice letter of thanks/appreciation, and two of us and our foster sister were pulled out and sent to a better placement later that week.
Good on these men for looking out for a total stranger. More of this would be great.

I mean a good ass beating is probably the best path these people can hope for. If they get arrested they dont learn.

I'd love some follow-up on this. Was this guy ever arrested? Or is he still out there, shoving women into the back of his car?

If he would have been wearing a mask and a vest he could have just said he's ice. That's legal for ice. What a stupid country

That's not how you treat anybody, especially a woman.
If you think he's 'trying to help' her - WTF is wrong with you?
Everything about his actions says assault.

Damn. Great job. Don’t let him drive off though. Slash those tires and call the cops.

LOLO! It's pretty rare that I laugh out loud at a video. When that dude walked off screen I thought he was maybe helping the woman carry stuff. NOPE, he just needed a better angle to launch those right hands! When that door opened he he began pummeling ... great moment!
