Easiest Early Voting Spot in Winston-Salem/Forsyth?
I drove by the Clemmons and Lewisville Public Libraries this afternoon, and they were jam packed. I didn't have time to wait in line, so I figured I would vote another day. Which polling station gets the least action in the County? I assumed Lewisville would be a ghost town, but clearly I don't know the area that well. I guess late afternoon on a Friday was a bad choice in time too, especially the first week it opens. Is there a particular time of day that would be better too, like maybe I should try 10/11 AM instead of 3/4 PM? Also hoping it will be less packed after this week.
I moved here from a smaller county in NC, and I never had to deal with a crowd to vote. Don't want that to discourage me from voting.

I did miller park community center at around 10am today and it was a 45 min wait with a ton of people that came after me. Maybe it’s just the first people out the gate and it’ll slow down but idk if you’re gonna find anywhere without a line unfortunately

You mean fortunately. We need people to perform their civic duty. Voter apathy is one of the reasons we're in this mess.
Edited to correct auto fill bs.

No unfortunately because so few locations are available for early voting, and they’re no longer open on weekends, and less people are wiling/able to volunteer at the polls to allow more places for be open. Voting should be an easy process. It’s unfortunate that it’s not. Several people had to leave the line to get back to work, get to appointments, or were simply unwilling to wait. I’m sure they’ll try again another day but long wait times are a huge deterrent to what’s supposed to be a basic piece of democracy.

There are 14 early voting locations. They’re open seven days a week until Oct. 31. Go to fc.cc and make your way to the Board of Elections page. You can see wait times at all locations.

The wait time tracker isn’t accurate at all, several people who arrived after me mentioned that. 14 is not a lot. There was a woman directly behind me who had to leave after 30 mins to get back to work. We’re so used to having curtailed voting access we think it’s normal to stand in lines for an hour plus. Voting should be easy. With how low voter turnout is, we need minimal friction to get people to participate. In the age of next day delivery and doordash people are easily turned off by the slightest barriers. I think we need higher standards for what voting accessibility should look like.

While I agree with needing easier access… you previously said early voting is closed on the weekend. That’s not true at all.

The library in Kernersville was easy enough for me yesterday. I don’t remember the name but it was on Harmon.

After the first couple of days, they’re all empty. Just wait a week

Ditto to Miller Park. I was in line a total of 10 mins first day of voting. Got there around 450 AM. Think it just depends on the day and time. Also they had curbside voting for those with disabilities affecting mobility. Thought that was cool.

Just want to say, I voted at the Clemmons Library on Thursday, and the line took less than 15 minutes.

What’s stopping a guy from voting at multiple locations?

Jail time? Unless of course you're voting for a Republican, then you were just confused and it was all a big mistake.
Voter fraud occurs at a rate of about 0.00012%, so it's really not an issue, but when it is found, there's an 85% chance that it's a Republican double or triple voting and the excuse is always that "the Democrats are doing it", because that's what they're constantly fed on Fox News.
