Discussion Advice
I’m a first year uni student and I’m so burnt out. I’m in my first year of BBA and it feels like no matter what I do I’m behind on understanding a lecture, can be working on an assignment, or doing some next school stuff.
I feel like school is on my mind 24/7 and especially with midterms it’s messing with me a lot. I feel like I wanna have a balance but it is genuinely so hard to find that balance.
If anyone has been in a similar situation how did u handle it and grow out of it. Any advice would be appreciated :)

bba is just a stressful program to begin with so u kinda signed urself up for that, but always be sure to make time for yourself even if it only means one day off a week where u can just sit and do nothing (or smth u enjoy), you’ll feel less behind bc ur not eating urself away and your giving ur brain time to reset

make sure to take exercise breaks...even just go for a 1/2 hour walk...fresh air, clear the mind and its a boost. And get a good sleep. You'll get through this...I believe in you!

Hi, im a second year BBA student and I went through the exact same thing. The jump from highschool to university is a big switch and I struggled a lot in first year. It felt like school was the only thing I ever did and took over my life. Honestly though, if you have good time management skills, you'll get used to it and it does get better. Its important to remember how hard you worked and how much you prayed to be in the position you are in right now, so you owe it to yourself to keep going and work hard! (at least thats what i tell myself lol) I say at least get through first year, and if you are still not enjoying it, think about next steps. But you got this!!!!
