Finishing Cherry cutting board
Piece of cherry I’ve had laying around for years already glued up - whipped out a cutting board, 2 coats watco butcher block finish and 2 coats of Howard’s butcher block conditioner - curious folks thoughts on using these products… Does the board hold up well, either the finish or the conditioner even necessary?! Excited to try it out on this board over the next few years and see how it goes, plan on near daily use with this board

Looks good, OP. I just use salad bowl oil on mine, but I’m a lazy finisher. Holds up good and easy to refresh when it gets ashy.
