Visual Worldtober Day 17 - Historic Monuments

Context: Tlanni is my fantasy worldbuilding project, a continent marked by thousands of years of history and myth and a slew of chiefdoms and burgeoning empires that seek to harness the secrets of the past.

Those traveling the roads of Tlanni are certain to come across massive and ancient monuments.

In the wooded Pa Aa' atlan region, towering stone ancestors are common. This one depicts a warrior, One-Foot, after a successful battle. Its face oozes blood-oil.

Along the Dead Coast far to the south, abandoned temples dot the countryside. This pyramid was likely a monument to a now long-forgotten king.

Just learned that "blood-oil" is apparently from Subnautica, so I'll have to rename it. But it was supposed to be more for vibes anyway; I just thought a statue that bleeds some kind of useful resource would be neat.
