They seem to be holding back missiles to have a very serious attack on Ukrainian energy supplies just as its getting cold. This story has been building for months. This is likely to be one of the biggest if not the biggest they will be able to put together.

If Ukraine's allies can't assist them to head this off -- either by striking the Russian strike equipment or providing more air defense -- then we're just dicking around.

I will never be able to listen to another person talk about how we need to spend money on our military when our military is useless in handling the largest geopolitical threat in a generation. It's all bullshit. There never was a NATO. There never was a US military dominance. All we can do is kick at little countries, make them suffer, and then give up and walk away with nothing to show for it. That's what the trillions have bought us. When an actual adversary starts knocking over countries in Europe we shrug. What the fuck was the past 50 years about? Jesus H Christ.

It’s not the military that’s the issue. This is a matter of political will and the lack thereof. Nobody in the West wants war with Russia, so western governments will do their best to avoid one until there’s no alternative.

That’s exactly what they want. The west orchestrated this war, and gave Russia no alternative. They funded and manipulated the Maidan revolution- Zelensky is a puppet who will do the bidding of NATO. At the outset of the war Russia asked that no NATO missiles be in the Ukraine- there was a deal on the table that would’ve prevented this war. It was rejected. It is absolutely laughable for anyone in the West to extol Putin as an imperialist- the US and Israel are the most imperialist, and aggressive nations in the history of the world. We sit here and act like the West would never do what Putin is doing in the Ukraine… let’s start stacking up the West’s imperial invasions (military interventions for those who speak propaganda) - Vietnam, Korea, Iraq(2x), Libya, Sudan, Afghanistan, Iran, genocide in Gaza etc. etc. etc.
Imagine what the US would do to Mexico if China and Russia formed an alliance, toppled their government and put in pro-eastern leaders, then put missiles in Mexico? It would be a lot worse than what is happening to the Ukraine I can tell you that.
