Russia/Ukraine Zelensky Calls Trump’s Sanctions Waiver a Mistake

It's not just a mistake, it's treachery.

It’s literally overturning Congress’s law to aid and abet an aggressor and adversary while turning our backs on an ally.
Betrayal. Treachery. Treason. That’s what it is. No other way around it.

Then what are you waiting for?
(Assuming you're American)
(If not, join the growing club of people that start to realise the American people are letting this happen)

When one aids an aggressor enemy against a besieged state in order to bring harm to the innocent, they are at best, a traitor to the people.

That’s a polite way of putting it, Zelensky.
His father not pulling out was also a mistake.

It's called "diplomacy". Something Trump can't even spell, let alone do.

“Diplomacy…It’s an old word, not many people are familiar with it, but I am, because I’m exceptionally smart, I aced the iq test three times. Aced it. Aces are great, you know? Some people don’t realize it—I do—but some people don’t realize that an ace, can either be the highest or the lowest card. Great card. The best. Like me, I’m the best. But I like it. It’s a fine word.”

It's not a mistake, it's corruption. Trump doesn't care about Ukraine. Or America. He cares about money and fame.

Why does everyone let him?
•

Because he’s extremely petty and vengeful. While many elected republicans love him, he uses fear and intimidation to ensure every single Republican stays in line.
Also, elected republicans have reported numerous death threats against the FROM THEIR OWN CONSTITUENTS whenever they disagree with Trump or, especially, if Trump calls them out.

So much of the coverage seems to focus on what a bad deal Trump has struck when it’s way more likely that we are all being mislead and we actually have no idea what Putin really promised Trump. The diesel is just a cover story. My guess based on the timing (and I sure hope someone can dig up some proof) is that Trump is so scared about how deeply unpopular he and his party is polling that he’s hit up Putin for billions of dollars worth of online disinformation campaign support ahead of the election in exchange for lifting sanctions and capping Starlink.

I'm pretty sure it was in exchange for keeping quiet with some damming shit that would be disastrous weeks before the midterms. Otherwise, the timing doesn't make any sense.
Like... Trump killing a hooker or fucking a child or something of that caliber - neither of which would really come as a surprise to any of us.

You're going to have to suck it up and just accept the fact that you are now fighting Russian in the United states. The question is what is the rest of the world going to do about it if anything?

Hope he reverts from Traitor Trump back to Taco Trump and reverses his support for Russia

Turns out the better leader, is the ex comedian/actor who sometimes wears a suit.

How the US exists and how their people accept it like good little servants is the mistake.

We have been raised all our lives to believe in a governmental system of checks and balances, but then the Legislative Branch goes to check the Executive Branch, the President just ignores it, and nobody bats an eye.

u/Basic_Improvement135 1h ago
But the legislative isn't checking him
•
u/Cultural-Company282 1h ago
Passing Russia sanctions were a check on Trump, who otherwise is trying to give Putin everything he wants.
•
u/Basic_Improvement135 1h ago
And trump ignored it

What is to stop every other country that the USA was going to sanction for not sanctioning Russian oil from doing the same thing?
"Do what I say not what I do" is not a very convincing foreign policy.

trump is getting something in return. He doesn’t do anything without a return. This is how he runs a company into the ground.
Me me me and afterwards more of ME

So do most Americans. Our "dear leader" is siding with our enemy. It's a fucking disgrace.

EVERYBODY is calling this a mistake. I say its straight-up treason. He's unable to connect the dots beyond one step and realize what he's doing is fucking disgusting. He can't see beyond one action.

u/Niceguy955 1h ago
Probably said something harsher, and then tuned it down to "mistake", hoping to still get something in the future from the orange traitor.
•
u/Potential-Yogurt-689 1h ago
It's not a "mistake" Casino Mussolini wants you to lose, he will do everything he can to make that happen,

To be fair, everything Trump does is a mistake.
