Bonus points when it's 3am and the network team for a customer immediately blames facilities saying that they don't have power, when we can see the lights on the rack.
Or complain to me that their engineers want to up the power on the cabinet while I am actively looking for melted receptacles with an IR camera because the rack PDUs they buy off Temu are all shorting out and trying to catch fire at the same time. "Can we support that right now?" they ask as I am tripping breakers.

also, the blizzard forums literally gave me a old school text message on the screen when i clicked it from the launcher saying "high server traffic. try again later" lmao

Don't know if it is on crunchyroll but it is good. One of the classics and they have several in the series. they also did a live action with scarlett johanson that is ok-ish if you are bored on a sunday and its raining.

Piggybacking off this because this piggybacking off this, because I can and this is one of my favorite series
In chronological order, there's a movie, a TV series, another TV series and technically second season, a second and third movie, a bunch of other stuff that's kinda cool, and a love action movie.
First movie is old (90's, time of Akira, Evangelion, Berserk by the guys who make the Pokémon anime, etc) Easy to get ahold of. Complete comprehensive story. Very good. I love it.
1st series: Stand Alone Complex. 2000s (Cowboy bebop, international release of DBZ etc) Anime that is technically a prequel to the movie. Goes over much of the things in the Manga but changes a lot of things (The Manga leans onto gag comedy, which was the style of the time). If you like soap operas and cyberpunk, it's very fucking good. Where a lot of your favorite voice actors got their starts. Also, nif you've ever seen that gif of the smiling person with the text rotating around their face, this show is where it's from. Some say it's the definitive gits experience.
2nd series: 2nd gig. sequel to the first, but Lao a stand alone hating, because it adds more things that happen later in the Manga that's supposed to happen after the events of the movie. A good book end ot the TV series and equally as good, imo. Banger opening.
2nd movie: actual sequel to the 1st movie, adds and canonizes things from the TV series. Extremely banger movie that brings its a game in every way, including the soundtrack.
3rd movie.: Solid state society. Takes place in the brief time between movie 1 and the end of series 2. Goes to set up the events that will play out. Etc. Kinda a filler movie but not terrible. Great world building, tbb
Live action movie: It's the first movie again, but lov action. Haven't seen it.

You can install via a CMD prompt and people are even logging in via the executable but the servers are not online yet. I got into like 3000 queue but as soon as you hit 0 you DC.

I had a 5 minute queue, got disconnected once it was done, and came back to a 30 minute queue lmfao
edit; waited another 30 minutes, got disconnected again, now looking at a 45 minute queue. Amazing.

You can launch it directly from the executable. But it doesn't do you any good right now, you just get disconnected after joining the login queue.

Same old same;
- No pre-download
- Lack of communication with player base
- Everyone trying to get 'on' at once
- Servers melting even though hamsters fed and doing overtime
One may be forgiven for thinking 'They should have known by now' replace 'They' with either ''The company' or 'The players'.
I understand why people are getting frustrated, annoyed or even angry though.

That's hardly what you can call it, yes you can work around the issue easily but with the way wow is built nowadays making it official would never have hurt, community finding ways to work around their client isn't the same as saying they added a pre download
Edit: what I mean by that is that they can stream pieces of the thing so even if they had a last hour micropatch, it wouldn't have been a problem

Heyo, I just opted in without pre-purchasing anything, like I've done in some previous betas. I feel like in the past, I remember the option on the launcher not showing at all unless I was definitely in, I think that's the part that's confusing me rn. I could be misremembering though. It's entirely possible they changed how it works.

I can tell you I only did opt-in, no purchase, install is greyed out for me. I didn't get any e-mail either that I was selected. There is a way to get around downloading the beta, but your account likely doesn't have a license so you can't login on the main screen anyway. It will just time you out / d/c after waiting in the queue.
