Student Life Fabrication help??

Are there any students with access to the fab lab? Not even sure this is something possible, but I have a hamster cage that needs new side panels, but I have no way to cut it myself and I’d like some specific ventilation if possible. I’d buy the acrylic and pay some for the labor if anyone’s interested or has suggestions for a cost effective approach!
Edit: thanks everybody! I emailed FIZ and am setting up a time to chat with the staff this week. Sounds like exactly what I was looking for!

Check in the Spark NOVA studio. Depending on what you need exactly they might be able to help, or at least point you in the right direction.

I just looked but unfortunately they stop at 12” for acrylic and I’d need larger. Otherwise it would be perfect

I believe down in sloan/eme there is a full machine shop. Not sure if they do walk-ins but might be worth checking out

Edit: or Dana....but they are all one building

FIZ in dana basement is exactly what you want. They have a laser cutter and train students on it
