Thats not the issue. The issue is nsfw subs cant post images or video. Only text posts or links

Edit: I was wrong. Only on the mobile app can you post images to nsfw sites. On pc there is no posting image and app/pc no posting video

Those are links. How do so many people not know how reddit works. Those are link previews, they are not posted from the user. The user is sharing a link.

I stand corrected, but then I feel like their point is completely irrelevant.

As for how I didn't know that, I've probably made 2 posts on reddit in my entire life, neither of them involving images. I could not tell you from memory what the post submission screen look like. I'm just a comment goblin.

I was wrong. Reddit has an exception for the mobile app. On the website image and video posting are disabled, but while video is also disabled, image posting is enabled for some reason.

from our end, it would mean that your ability to post images, gifs etc. in comments will be revoked 

from mods end, it means lesser traffic = lesser sub growth

Their hands were tied due to Reddit admins warning them. It isn't technically an NSFW subreddit, so when you're a fairly popular front-page subreddit posing NSFW stuff, that's a big problem. It was either you made the subreddit NSFW and you lose front page influence, or keep it normal and just ban NSFW posts.

Remove unmarked NSFW from one, and allow SFW crossposting. New goal: get banned from both at the same time.

Same, I hate when cropped porn posts end up in unrelated subs, but I always still found them funny when used well. A sub dedicated to that, where its both people actually (probably not) trying to be funny and its encouraged. And then it goes away 3 days later. Rip

So I have no idea how found this place. Reddit basically just keeps recommending me here. Before the "NSFW" ban, it was actually kinda funny. Now it's not like "you forgot the funny" it's just you completely wiped it out of the fucking ingredients list. Unfortunately you will have some memes that are ya basically just an excuse for porn, but others were genuinely funny and the reason I was starting to find this sub interesting.
