Our game got copied to Roblox after just 1-2 hours, and it's more than one 😭
So shortly, me and my friend were working on a incremental luggage opening game for the past few months. And recently we published the Steam page of it and started posting the game on social media.
We got lucky with the Twitter post and it got a lot of views. But after a few hours we noticed that our game got copied to Roblox. Some of the developers just replied to our post with their copy and there is probably more of them that we didn't see yet.
I guess this is the current state of game development.
It would be amazing if you wishlist our game and support us, thank you ❤️

I haven’t posted here in almost 2 years, my aRPG, Last Moon Demo 1.0 launches October 19! 🌙
Hey everyone!
It’s been almost two years since I last posted about Last Moon here, and the game has changed a lot since then.
I’ve been working full-time on it as a solo developer with an audio designer, and Demo 1.0 is finally coming on October 19. It’s been completely reworked with major improvements to gameplay, visuals, narration, optimization, new NPCs, runes and more.
Your Demo 1.0 save will also carry over to the full game when it releases.
Here’s the new trailer! Hope you enjoy it! ❤️
And thanks to everyone who’s been following the project all these years. 🌙

I’ve been making a carpet cleaning game on my own. It’s called Carpet Daddy, and I’ve just released a free demo on Steam.
Hey everyone, i've been developing Carpet Daddy. It’s a game about working through filthy carpets in different locations and getting them clean again.
You vacuum up loose dirt, pre-spray and scrub the carpet, treat stubborn stains, then extract the dirt. You can also move furniture to get underneath it.
I’ve just released a free Windows demo with the tutorial and the first full cleaning mission:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/5381120/Carpet_Daddy_Demo/
If you try it, I’d appreciate hearing how the cleaning feels and whether any of the steps are confusing. Thanks for taking a look.
AI disclosure: I’ve used AI for coding assistance at some points but there is no AI-Generated art or media used in the game.

More than 15.000 hand-drawn frames later, our narrative deckbuilder finally has a nice playable demo!
Hey everyone!
My friend and I have been working on Stack Order, an enigmatic 1v1 deckbuilding adventure where every duel, transition, card, boss and cutscene is completely drawn by hand frame-by-frame.
The core idea is simple: instead of standard turn-based card play, you place cards into distinct board slots to create stacks that resolve sequentially. You can chain cards across columns, exploit boss weaknesses with tactical decisions, and uncover the corruption taking over this handcrafted world!
As it is our first game, we did the mistake to release a clunky demo, with unclear mechanics and not so enjoyable gameplay loop sometime. But after months of listening to player feedback, adding a lot of visual and audio polish and gameplay overhaul, we pushed a big update to our free demo on Steam. Needless to say that feedback are way more positive now and we're super happy about how far we went!
Check it out here if you would like to give it a try: Stack Order Demo !
We are a small indie team, so any feedback, review, wishlist, or first impressions mean the world to us. I'll be around in the comment so let us know what you think!

New capsule art for our game — what do you think compared to the old one?
I made a new capsule illustration for Witch & Dragon: Hope of Elements ahead of Steam Next Fest, and I'd love to hear your thoughts!
This time, I wanted to set the scene in the sky, which is the homeland of the dragon in our game's story. I also wanted to put more emphasis on our two main characters — Elise, the witch, and Pipi, her little dragon companion — while giving the artwork a stronger sense of magic and adventure.
I'm hoping this version makes the characters and the fantasy atmosphere stand out more clearly, even at a glance.
What do you think of the new design compared to the previous capsule? Which one catches your eye more, and is there anything you'd change?
I'd really appreciate any feedback! 😊

I have been creating a fantasy medieval tavern game for over 1.5 years. Would this be of interest to you? :)
Hello everyone!
My name is Preben, and I have been developing a solo game for over 1.5 years now. I don't know if this might be of interest to anyone, but I wanted to give a little bit of backstory. I have always been very fascinated by the Middle Ages, especially taverns. There has always been something about them that really intrigued me. I wanted a game where I could get the feeling of being in the Middle Ages, running a tavern of my own. After looking everywhere, I could not find anything like what I was looking for. So I decided to create it myself, for two reasons: I wanted to play something like this myself, and I wanted to give other people who might have the same wish the same opportunity.
So I created Taverns of Aldermont. The game is set in the medieval town of Aldermont, where you inherit an old tavern from your grandfather. Your mission from here is to build it up and maybe even turn it around. You pour ale, cook food, keep track of the economy, go out into the town to buy ale, food, etc. There are your regular guests, all with their own stories. Your choices have consequences that can be seen far into the game. When you earn enough, you can choose to buy another tavern, each one unique.
The cheapest taverns are The Rusty Anchor and The Thieves' Den. The Rusty Anchor's crowd is mainly sailors, all with their own personalities and stories. You row out on a small boat yourself to catch fish in the fjord and sell them in your tavern. The Thieves' Den has a much rougher crowd, swarming with criminals and hardheads. Here you can buy illegal goods and stolen items and sell them for a higher price. There is also a poker and blackjack table where you are the house and make a passive income, in addition to having the opportunity to join in yourself and test your luck.
From there, the next tavern is The Seven Tongues. All of the different strange races that have nowhere else to go in town come here. Dwarves don't like sitting with elves, orcs don't like humans, and therefore you must seat the guests accordingly. In addition to this, you can learn magic, with 15 spells you can use whenever you see fit :)
The last and most expensive tavern is The Wandering Keg. This is a large ship with its own crew, fishing possibilities, and the whole fjord and sea for you to conquer. You lay to port at whichever village, monastery, castle or city you like, and serve at the most prestigious tavern there is. I am also looking into the possibility of adding cannons and pirate raids. Is this something you would be interested in?
Basically, you have a whole city full of people and different shops outside your tavern for you to explore. I sincerely hope this might be of interest to you, and I would be more than happy to hear your feedback and improve!
PS: I know a lot of people are tired of AI-generated games, so I just want to clarify that I have used AI for brainstorming and discussing ideas. Other than that, everything is handmade.
Thank you in advance.
Here is the Steam page for anyone interested:

⏰ Do you want Shorter Video Games?
I’m curious about the group consensus. Do you like shorter games (2-6 hours) in the indie game space, or do you prefer maximum replayability, open worlds, and countless side quests (>100 hours)?

I spent 4 days making a pizza, according to my 5-year-old
I'm a solo dev, and I've spent 4 days creating outlines for all 72 buildings of my incremental game, including specific outlines for each building upgrade. Some events also slightly change the outline of certain buildings.
They all come together on a village map that grows over time as you build and upgrade your village.
I was kind of happy and even a bit proud of how it turned out, to be honest.
Then my 5-year-old daughter passed by my work desk in the living room and asked, looking at the screen:
"Is that a pizza?"
So I guess I spent 4 days of work building a pizza.
But since she loves pizza, I'll take that as her seal of approval.

The Evolution of the Character Portrait Art Style in My Game, The Magic Garden
The second image shows the original art style. I've been working on this game for almost three years now. The original character portraits looked great, but they didn't quite fit with the pixel-art environments.
Later, I tried the animated art style shown in the third image. It looked pretty good too, but still didn't quite match the environments. (The artist who worked on the animated style was different from the original artist.)
Eventually, I settled on the pixel-art style shown in the fourth image. So far, it's the style that fits the environments the best and gives the game a more cohesive overall look.
If you’re interested in the game, feel free to add it to your wishlist. XDD

Check out my virtual on meets smash bros fighting game, micro mayhem.
Made with ai. Code and modeling.
This project originally started because I was reverse engineering the Cyber troopers virtual on arcade cabinet. Trying to figure out how it worked. I really enjoyed doing that. I really enjoyed those game mechanics so I wanted to kind of bring them into my own game.
This game is really just practice for me. I had a ton of fun making it. I had a ton of fun playing it and my kids enjoy it too. I think it's finally ready for me to share it out with the world in general. So here it is.
I hope you enjoy!

Welcome to the casino where every breath costs money!
Hey!
In Spin To Breathe, space pirates are after you, your oxygen is running out, and a slot machine is your only hope.
Spin the reels, grab some trinkets, upgrade your machine, and hit the jackpot before you run out of air. Easy, right?
The demo is out now on Steam!
Disclaimer: Spin To Breathe is NOT a gambling game. However, the developer can't promise you won't lose a few hours of your life.

I'm a solo developer, and my roguelite ship-builder Cubersum now has a free demo on Steam
Hi! I'm the solo developer of Cubersum, a roguelite ship-builder where you collect blocks, rebuild your ship mid-flight, and try to bring your haul home before the ship falls apart. Despite its apparent complexity, it is actually a fairly relaxing, almost meditative game. You can slow down time or pause whenever you need a moment to think.
The game is essentially complete, and I'm planning to release it shortly after Steam Next Fest.
The free demo is now live on Steam, and I'd really appreciate your feedback before release - especially on the gameplay and any confusing or frustrating parts. Feedback on the machine-translated localizations is also very welcome!
AI disclosure: I used AI for programming, Steam page artwork, localizations and in-game music. The original concept, gameplay, mechanics, and game design are my own.

Thanks for checking it out!

Hollow, A pumpkin carving sim!
Here is another free game i made! Hollow, a game where you carve out a pumpkin, that's it. NO catch. A smaller browser game to tinker with, but you can get surprisingly good results out of it. Hope you enjoy! Any feedback is always welcome.
Generative AI was used when creating this game. Mostly the code and 3d modeling. For the background blender scene.
Sounds are original as is the text.
