I see many posts about people who went to an LGS for the first time and had bad experiences with people whining or being salty for no reason, and the posters question wheter they did something wrong. The answer is: 99% of the time, no. Sure, maybe playing your Mono Blue Stax Urza deck at a B2 table wasn't a good idea, but besides those rare cases, it's not your fault.

Playing Voltron? "NOOO you killed me on turn 5!!! That's against Bracket GUIDELINES!"

Playing Mill? "NOOOO my PRECIOUS cards!!!"

Playing Theft? "NOOO don't touch my CARDS!"

Playing Dragons? "UNORIGINAL!"

Playing Lifegain? "NOOO the game's gonna last three HOURS!"

The important thing to remember is that some people are like that. They'll complain, and you should let them, but don't overthink it. Keep playing, meet some nice players, join a playgroup. Magic (and especially EDH) is a game. We should all be having fun.

Hey, I'm thinking of writing a piece of fanfiction. I already got some pretty solid ideas in place, but I'm running into a brick wall. In my preplanning I can't seem to make a piece last organically for longer than twenty chapters. After the initial plot point is resolved and whatever central macguffin is obtained, it stalls from that point on and stops being interesting. How do I develop a story past the first plotline?

Wanted to know if there’s a place to report female stalkers /con-artists as it’s a rise in this city. Know they have the tea app for the ladies to report us I wanted to know if something like that exist for men to report the females that have gone out of their way to try to ruin us.

If so, how long did steam take to fix it? I just got world a few days ago and I really like it so far, but I lost some progress yesterday and it might be better to play something else until then.

Does anybody else think rattlesnakes would be a cool addition? They would be a neat passive threat that would spawn in open areas in the wilderness, will bite you if you get to close, and cause a sickness that can only be cured by anti-venom, which would rarely spawn in hospitals.
I think they’d encourage people to stick to the roads more instead of rushing through the wilderness.
Also killing them could provide you with a little snack

I cannot stand people listening to shit on their phone at max volume while I’m trying to decompress from the noises on the floor. Why does no-one have headphones anymore?? There are at least 2-3 people doing this every single time I’m in the breakroom. Or they’re talking on speaker/FaceTime and basically yelling to the other person. I wish we had a quiet room…
Also people that leave their coat and/or lunchbox on a chair, all day, when we are usually already low on seats is so inconsiderate. I’ve started just moving shit and hoping they come by and say something to me.
I’m sure plenty have complained about these same things but it feels like things that needs to be repeated because people are so oblivious to others around them.
