Waiving Sochan set up for trade?
Like some other fans, I was a bit surprised to see Sochan released since he played well and fills a position of need for us. Joe talked about using the mle to swing a trade during the season once it was available. I wonder if we don't target someone like Jaime Jaquez Jr from Milwaukee or perhaps someone closer to that full mle here early in the season. Thoughts on any players that might realistically be available for trade right now in that mle range?

Damian Lillard full highlights vs. Golden State Warriors (118-110 L) - preseason: 23 Points on 4/10 FG, 2/5 from 3, 13/13 from the line, 1 Rebound, 3 Assists (1 TOV), no fouls, and a +/- of -6 in 25:39 minutes played.

Ja Morant full highlights vs. Golden State Warriors (128-118 L) - preseason:19 Points on 8/10 FG (80.0%), 3/4 from 3, 0/1 FT, 3 Rebounds (1 Off. Reb), 3 Assists (4 TOV), 1 Steal, 4 PF, and a +/- of -16 in 27:19 minutes played.
On the box score, they gave him 3/3 from 3, but he actually missed one corner 3 (his feet were clearly behind the line)

Yang Hansen full highlights vs. Golden State Warriors - preseason (128-118 L):6 Points on 3/4 FG (75.0%), 0/1 from 3, 7 Rebounds (3 Off. Rebs), 2 Assists (1 TOV), 1 PF, and a +/- of -2 in 20:22 minutes played off the bench.
Including almost every play he was involved in.
There were several plays where there was a foul (not by Yang) before his involvement in the play, so I didn't count them (and they aren't in the video).
This was the last preseason game for the Portland Trail Blazers
There was an issue with the Blazers' picture quality for everyone, so I used much of the Warriors' broadcast footage.

[Vorkunov] Portland Trail Blazers owner Tom Dundon has floated the prospect of relocation in private talks with league officials and other owners.
As the Portland Trail Blazers and local government officials negotiate the terms of a new lease agreement to refurbish the Moda Center, the prospect of relocation has hung over the city. It is, ultimately, the largest bargaining chip the Blazers and owner Tom Dundon have and what Portland must fear most if the two sides cannot agree to terms.
Negotiations on a remodel and a new lease have been rocky, but the relationship between the franchise and the city seems to have rebounded since it hit a nadir this summer. Dundon even met with city officials this week at a Blazers preseason game, as first reported by The Oregonian and confirmed by *The Athletic*.
With a looming deadline to make a deal by the end of the year, the Blazers owner told *The Athletic* that keeping the franchise where it has been for 56 years remains his goal.
“We are working to keep the team in Portland,” Dundon said by text message. “That is the priority.”
That threat of relocation has gone unsaid, at least publicly, in discussions between the Blazers and the city. But Dundon has floated the prospect of relocation in private talks with league officials and other owners, sources with knowledge of the situation told *The Athletic*. Those sources spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the conversations.
The discussions with NBA officials were not an official request, sources said. Dundon was met with resistance during those conversations, and the league told him to focus on trying to make the Blazers work in Portland, sources said.
Dundon denied any such discussions occurred. “That is not accurate,” he said.

Why is our broadcast picture so awful?
The game is on league pass tonight with both GSW and POR feeds available; toggling between the feeds is mind boggling because our picture is SO MUCH WORSE. Blurry; pixelated; you can’t see the crowd; fuzzy edges on typeface.
Last year I thought maybe it was my antennae or something but no; our broadcast is hot garbage, and comparing the feeds proves it.
If there is anyone out there wondering if your equipment is bad or maybe you’re surprise drunk, no. It’s our broadcast.
I’m not a technical video resolution guy, so I can’t explain it, but I can sure as hell see it. I guess I’ll watch the opposing broadcasts all year.

El Cheapi Strikes Again? Stream Quality?
Long time Blazer fan living in Wisconsin and I have league pass to watch the blazers. The blazers stream quality is god awful tonight, choppy, poor quality. Switched over to GS broadcast and it’s 10x better. Did we cheap out on streaming quality too? lol.
