It's definitely paint, not wrap. Another photo shows some scrapes in the finish. Also, does look like a 24" kick to you? The toms look like 13, 16.

Is this deal worth it at all?
$650 I don’t know much about dw I know they’re generally expensive but these seem a little rough. I think the badge says they’re all maple and he said small sizes so I’m guessing 18 inch kick.

Long story short. I bought this custom Hero 14x9 snare off market place. The bearing edge was a little warped inwards where the snare wire straps passed through. It was also missing a lug and a few tension rods.
I used steam and kept the shell in spreaders for like a month to get the shell back into a symmetrical shape and it seems to have worked!
Snare is all cleaned and put back together. It looks and sounds amazing!
Last two pics are what it looked like when I bought it.

This thing sounds awesome. I've now got a samsun, a zilzen/turkish, and a mehteran. These turkish handmade cymbals are just outstanding. I love my k's and stuff, but this is just so buttery and musical.

September of 1977 Made in Japan Yamaha 7000 in Brown Silk finish. First ones of the 7000 being made with mufflers.
24,18,14,13 sizes - all made in september of 1977 (NP serial number).
This are play grade drums that suffered some neglecting but were made to be played again.
Some replaced parts and some rust and pitting.
Thinking of selling them.
What do you think they are worth?

I'm super curious to hear how loud these hits are and I can't find anything on youtube of it. The Drumeo guy said he could hear a lot of power but he might've just been gassing him up lol

1st commissioned custom snare build for my drum mentor Foz. He dubbed it “Frankensnare“ fitting for the fact that I robbed pieces from my snare graveyard.

I've wanted to drum my entire life as a 30yo. Finally two months in and i'm wondering if someone could give me some pointers in advancement.
I'm using stick control + a pad whenever I can to get better with sticking. I'm finding songs I like on Youtube and looking for sheet music/ just trying to play along. For ear I'm trying to play with rap music to work on my own creativity.
Overall I think it's going very well. I'd like to say I sound like I'm drumming which is neat. What advice would you offer and are lessons a huge upgrade? My plan is to get lessons after a year of self teachings.

i’ve bought a drum kit solely because i saw a steel free floating snare drum and it was too good to pass.
It came with these hats, which i know they are “Pearl Rudes” but i can’t seem to find 15” hats anywhere on the web.
Can you help me access its rarity and possibly how much they are worth?
I’m selling them since i don’t need them!
Got this for 300e today. Used of course.
I mainly went for it for the 3 cymbals, but I couldn't find much about the specific model of the kit. Outside of one Tama Rockstar tom there's a Premier kick and two toms.
The cymbals are Zildjian K Dark Crashes, 15" and 17".
In total there's:
- A Premier kit with two toms
- A tama rockstar tom
- Peace snare
- Meinl Roman Mark 70 hi hats, from when Germany was still "West Germany",
- Zildjian K 15" and K 17" Dark Crash Thins, from id say 90s or earlier
- some Pearl hardware and a Ludwig hi hat stand
- Meinl Stick bag
1) Do you think that was a steal or what its worth?
2) Can anyone help me identify what kind of model the premier is, or in fact anything about it really?
3) Any info on the Meinl hats? Couldn't clearly find what they're even supposed to be made of.
4) Any ideas on the snare? I dont think it sounds great but that could be the old head and the fact it seriously needs tuning.
5) Any way to find out if the hardware is good quality or not? Just curious if it'd be better to keep these or brand new Millennium stands i bought a few months ago, in terms of longevity.
6) Any way to repair the crack appearing on the underside of the 17" K?
7) If that was a good deal and I were to resell it, ballpark what you think value would be?
I hope thats not too many questions!
I'm really looking forward to having time to actually try it out properly tomorrow.

“Feel” can seem like a vague, arbitrary musical term.
Gadd’s unmistakable playing defines it. This isn’t a super complicated drum part, but to make it sound and “feel” the way Steve Gadd can… It’s beyond difficult.
If you’re a seasoned player - this record is a hidden Gadd gem!
If you’re a newer player - listen to the albums Steve Gadd played on. His playing is so unique and unbelievably creative, he is easily one of the best to ever do it. Countless artists used him, and some of the most iconic drum tracks ever came from him.
