I've been playing on and off since the game released. I rank consistently around GC or Champ 3 in doubles depending on how well I'm playing. There are a lot of times where when we both start in front of the net, my partner will be nearly up my ass when I go for kickoff. I don't even mean cheating up. I mean they're full boosting and flipping with me to the ball. A lot of times, this leads to the ball ending up behind us and the other team scoring. I don't remember people doing this years back. Why is this a thing?

Honesty, whenever I go for aur dribble I always somehow end up going higher than the ball's height as soon as i jump from the wall, also i am more familiar with the right wall. But idk how I did this, just thought of doing it and it happened.

No. I'm here to play ranked 1v1s against players at my own skill level, not watch you freestyle, hit triple flip resets, and forfeit with 30 seconds left.

I don't care if you're going to let me win. I queued to play 1v1, not to be your practice dummy. Go use freeplay or casual.

All of you telling me to use these matches as practice are missing the point.

I want to play 1v1s against players at my own skill level. I don't care if I could spend the entire match camping my half and waiting for them to carry the ball across the map. That's not fun, and defending shots that nobody at my rank can realistically hit isn't helping me improve at the mechanics I actually need to work on, like dribbling, flicks, pinches, and recoveries.

Every minute I spend defending GC-level mechanics is a minute I'm not spending developing the mechanics appropriate for my own rank.

This game needs account-based matchmaking restrictions. If two players' peak ratings are 500+ MMR apart, they shouldn't be matched against each other just because they're currently in the same playlist rank. Playlist rank alone clearly doesn't tell the whole story.

I peaked C1 at the very end of last season, just started playing ranked again yesterday and 1 game off C1, I think I’ll be hanging in champ here soon :)

I am decently mechy for a D3 because I love free play but I think I’m gonna start practicing these way more. It was pretty satisfying to get a double tap set up so quickly.

2 weeks ago I was champ 2 div 2, I was at my peak it was fun everything was amazing. A week ago I got my first job and after not playing for a week I finally got the time to hop on rl and i kept loosing game after game I got so demotivated I lowk started crying as a grown ass man😭😭. Shit was so frustrating everything was normal just 2 weeks ago and now im so ass at the game I dont even understand what to do i lost so much I got down to d1 div 1.

Anyone else gone through this expirence??
