Researchers at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) found that blocking the PROX1 protein can activate Müller glia, support cells in the retina, to regenerate light-sensing neurons. In mouse models, this approach restored vision for more than six months, offering potential future treatments for glaucoma, retinitis pigmentosa, and age-related macular degeneration. Published in Nature Communications, the findings remain preclinical; human trials have not yet begun: https://retinalphysician.com/issues/2025/june/study-finds-blocking-prox1-transfer-promotes-retinal-regeneration/

Not sure if this counts as I was in limbo between sleeping and waking in the morning but I thought it fit here (re-uploaded as I got the original title wrong)

The community will name Brysko's hound once the QTCC donations reach 120k

(This is likely a part of Brysko's kit like Venari, It's unclear if we're getting actual sentient companions atm)

Not sure where this is best posted, but I came across this flyer and felt the need to share. I’m sure I’m not alone in wanting EVERYONE to have access to a shower, restrooms, and basic services. It’s a win/win for everyone in our city.

I’ve mixed most of the main bosses to remake Cthulhu, this hurts to look at and it’s cursed, amazing. I will always look at this and say “Hey look is Boss-Hulu”

Photographed just now on a flight over Lake Erie.
