I'm Kerri, a.k.a. RatQueen, the new Community Manager at Re-Logic!
I made a little intro post over on Terraria Community Forums if you'd like to know a bit more about me, if not that's totally okay too!
ANYWAY, important things đ
Weâre excited to announce a new collaboration with FiGGYZ and we want you, the community, to vote on which characters make it into the numbered Collectorâs Box Set. Which four would you want to see on your shelf?
You can select up to 8 options when placing your vote, and the winning 4 will be rebuilt as FiGGYZ.
Thereâs a wide variety of Bosses, Armor Sets, Mounts & Pets, Enemies & Critters, and Town NPCs to go through, and weâre really looking forward to seeing what you all pick!
Every voter will receive $5 off and have a chance to win a full Box Set, maybe itâs time to go pet some Ladybugs for extra luck?
With 164 options to choose from we know this might be a tough decision for some but you will have until Friday November 13 to decide! Voting will close on November 13 at 6:30am PT / 9:30am ET / 2:30pm GMT / 10:30pm HKT
The results of the vote will be revealed live during First 4 Figuresâ E44 stream which starts at 6am PT / 9am ET / 2pm GMT / 10pm HKT. All voters will also receive an email of the results, so even if you miss the live results on stream, youâll get a wrap up sent directly to you.
What are FiGGYZ?
FiGGYZ are Pop Magnet Collectibles - pixel-art characters that snap magnetically onto reversible metal display-ready backdrops.
Collectorâs Box Features:
x4 FiGGYZ figures - the four winners of the vote, each raised on MagMount⢠pegs over its own reversible metal backplate
x4 Holo plates - Foil-finished plates made only for the box set, never sold separately. Each carries your edition number
x1 Numbered coin - A commemorative coin carrying all four characters, on its own stand
x1 Numbered box - Premium dual-tray packout. Your edition number is printed on the box and on all four plates
Plus 8 FiGGYZ bases and 8 3M magnetic stickers, one of each for every figure and every holo plate

Having the stress ball auto fish would be over powered. I think this would be an okay way to balance it out. Id say its made by combining the stress ball + the anglers hat, so its not too easy to get. Tool tip could be "Fishing just got a whole lot less stressful" - PaxPond
I feel like the obsession a lot of people have with maximizing the perfect accessory setup is taken a bit far here. Every time someone has their accessories visible on a post or people mention any speed accessories people jump in talking about wasting slots you could be using on damage. Just use a mount, don't use this, you're wasting it. Wow you aren't using peak strategy? What's wrong with you? Pathetic.
It isn't playing it wrong to not minmax your every experience, you can just use the stuff you like or want to use. Chill.
Also, you have like 3 loadouts. I personally split them into different purposes. Maximum efficiency really isn't the end of the world.
pretty new to terraria and wanted to branch out from being a square enjoyer, definitely not as cool as some of the stuff ive seen, but kind of proud of finally having something that isnt just a square
still a few more things i might wanna add, but mostly finished and wanted to share
(getting all the honey and hive blocks and building this in the underground jungle pre-hm on expert was a nightmare)
Idk man it's 5:30 rn and I have work later but let's be real we all have horrifying experiences from these pesky fuckers.. has there ever been a time where youre just trying to get something done and some skeleton bitch has shot you through the cranium?? God they made me rage quit one day. Only time I ever have except mass effect 2. Building anything underground in skyblock and they just spawn anytime a block is offscreen? Oh and when I built a massive underground arena cus im a sucker for a massive underground arena and im getting my walls in then bam a callous calcium cheeky skeleton comes up from behind me and shoots me with that arrow of hell and despair?? Concerned ape or whoever made terraria again i forgot im so bloody tired man please nerf the archers or just make it so they spawn like less or something id really like that. Idk man im tired sleep well unless youre a skeleton archer or something idk
First time playing master mode terraria, and I'm genuinely getting my ass beat. Found a step stool with the "armored" modifier on it and it gives me nearly 30% more defense when I wear it . Never thought that I would be using a step stool over far, far better accessories.
Imagine the Dunerider boots didn't have the advantage of running extra fast on sand, and instead it was a seperate accessory that provides the speed on sand. It'd be too bad to take up an accessory slot, and it would be overlooked.
Ice skates have the same problem. Make the flurry boots have all the added bonuses of the ice skates (faster on ice, not breaking thin ice) instead of having it be a seperate item. It is usually obtained merely to make the Terraspark boots.
TL;DR Although this is a minor thing, it would be nice to add achievement sets that preserve your completion status for the game version of that time.
"Games today live longer than ever, continuing to receive updates through new DLC, expansions, and seasons. But achievements added with new game content can be hard to discover and can accidentally break the completion status of players who have already finished the game."
The last sentence seems to hit pretty close to the Terraria case.
"This beta enables developers to group their game's related achievements together in collections we are calling Achievement Sets. Devs can specify the number of sets and the purpose of each to match their game's specific needs. You can imagine one game grouping its achievements into single-player and multiplayer sets, or another into 8 class-based sets."
This thing appears to be highly configurable - it doesn't just stick to the "Base game / DLC" model and can be adjusted to the devs liking.
I think it gets frustrating to lose the "Completed" status every time a new big update is released, especially when you don't have as much time to get it all as you did in the past. Although this is a minor thing, it would be nice to have sets that "lock in" your accomplishment.
So I made an attempt to show how this potentially would look. (Under "Give Beta Feedback" there would also be the number of completed sets, but none of my completed games have introduced it yet, so I don't have any example of how it would look.)
P.S: Hope this doesn't break sub's rule 8, it's very different from usual "how-to-get" and advising achievement posts and is more about this system as a whole.
P.P.S: Devs may categorize them differently, like by types "collecting/boss defeating/crafting/etc.." and that's okay too. It may be still a nice tweak, because it doesn't essentially force you to do everything, you can easily reclaim specific set which is also nice.
P.P.P.S: Dates and amounts of achievements I looked up on wiki, it may contain inaccuracies.
So I made a post about this asking about advice on chapter tasks, but I am developing a "Challenge" and personally testing each phase as I go, so one down!
This was inspired by "I spent a year" series' on youtube (Throarbin personally, I assume others do them as well), but without arbitrary time limits.
I decided to start on master mode when I first started out, is wasn't that hard (or not as hard as people make it out to be), it took me 270 hours of playtime, and I beat every boss while gaining all their trophy's.
