Congrats Oda!
Definitely deserves it.

RIP Oda pops 🕊️

I have no idea why I’m making this post, I don’t post on Reddit much. But I’m sure others in this community have gone through this and it just feels good to write it out.

Yesterday I lost my buddy that’s seen everything I’ve done in this game the last 8 years. He succumbed to an enlarged heart as we were racing to the emergency vet. He didn’t show any worrying symptoms until the very end. My wife got to comfort him in his final moments in the back seat.

The highlight of my day, every day without fail, was sitting down at the PC in the game room and hearing him jump up on the couch and start snoring within minutes. The game didn’t enthuse him much, but he was there for every accomplishment.

It’s hard to play. I keep staring at the bank. I know it’s stupid but I just keep going and staring at this German Shepherd at the farm south of Falador. I was hoping we’d get shepherds with the dog update, but I’m sure that’s coming eventually. It’ll be great to memorialize him that way.

21 years ago I met a great friend on RuneScape that was one of the best online friends I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He was a kind person and was always willing to help me as I learned the game. He gave me an account back then that I still play on to this day (not often, as the stats show haha) but still. He will be missed, and I guess I just wanted to share that in a world of people that can be cruel he was always kind to me and the group of friends we shared. It's wild to me that RuneScape fueled a friendship that lasted for... unfortunately, the rest of his life. RIP Paul. You will be missed.

Huge appreciation for Jagex Support

Just wanted to make an appreciation post for Jagex Support because they genuinely helped me out when I really needed it.

My dog was recently diagnosed with hip dysplasia and needed a specific piece of equipment that, after looking into the options, seems to work best for her with other treatment as well. It cost me around €740, which I bought at the end of the month. After buying it, I had just enough money left to get through the rest of the month eating basically spaghetti and ketchup.

Then my Jagex subscription renewed.

I honestly thought I had cancelled it, so when the payment went through, I was pretty stressed. That money would literally have meant going without food for another couple of days.

I know it was a bit cheeky of me to reach out and ask for a refund, and I basically went with the slightly "dog ate my homework" excuse of "my dog is ill" — but in this case, it was actually true.

Mod Srze reached out to me via email and explained that refunds like this aren't something they normally do and that it's handled on a case-by-case basis. But they were kind enough to make an exception and refund the subscription.

It might seem like a small thing, but it genuinely meant a lot to me and took a huge weight off my shoulders.

Massive W for Jagex Support, and especially Mod Srze. Thank you!

I'm beyond speechless at this discovery. My beloved dog Ziggy, who passed away just before Christmas last year, now exists in the game forever more.

For those unaware, Mod Skylark last year was looking for pet submissions for last years Christmas parade event and I was reached out by Mod West for some photos of my boy Ziggy. Long story short, Skylark did the mock-up of my boy and he now lives in the new town of Kastori by the watering hole.

I'm absolutely crying over this discovery. Thank you team for allowing me to visit my boy as many times as I can.. I'll visit him every day and bring him fresh bones (providing he drops the Broccoli) and give him the biggest pats for being such a good (albeit mischevious) boy.

What a legend I never have ran into a RuneScape celebrity before haha

Rest in peace Babablock.

It's time we part ways. See you back in Varrock, your eternal home.

One of the known celebrities who maxed his RS account has died by suicide. RJ MITTE

What a sad world.

Sometimes I just wish to reconnect with some of my old friendlist inactives to see how my young friends are doing now.

Don’t forget to shoot a pm, or talk to someone in discord. You never know what your reach out can do for someone.

Anyway, RIP GAMER.

I was about to swap worlds when I saw Diggitydog10 die to General Graardor and leave him on 1 hp, I entered and did the final blow. He got bandos tassets. I picked them up for you just before timeout (he's not an iron according to lookup). I've been waiting at the entrance for 30 mins, I hope you see this and can claim your earned tassets. I've added you as a friend plz accept so I can give them to you.
