Art Showcase [Original] My first optimized Low-Poly Greatsword (314 Tris) - Practicing topology and flat shading
Hey everyone! I’m a beginner 3D artist focusing on retro aesthetics. I wanted to practice hard-surface modeling and vertex efficiency by creating an original high-tier fantasy weapon inspired by classic RPG art directions.
I kept the geometry strictly optimized at 314 triangles and used flat base materials for a clean look. I would love to get some feedback on the topology or how to improve my flat shading setups for future props!

If you're asking for feedback on topology then show the wireframe and it's good to see UVs. And 314 triangles sounds like a lot for a low-poly model like this. Or maybe I'm old and modern low-poly models are defined by a different triangle count
