Hello friends!

I’ve been working at 7brew for a little over a year now. I have always heard and made the jokes that 7brew is a cult and we (as employees) are trapped here forever. It just dawned on me the other day that maybe there is no joke…

I’ve tried to quit before and I was told to just transfer to a different stand(and I did???), there’s over 100 bees per shift that are flying everywhere on everything and literally IN MY SHIRT?! We had no working AC all summer and forced to text for 6-10 hours straight in the 100° heat. Passed out in the walk in during brewdoh day. FELL FROM THE ATTIC(had to go to the hospital and almost broke my tailbone) and nobody cared or checked up on me or offered me any support.

I found myself getting upset I wasn’t considered for trainer when they literally only get paid $1 more? The environment is forcing everyone to be friends with each other and encouraging genuine friendship/relationships to be formed with coworkers making it harder to leave. I’ve worked so many different jobs and I’ve quit jobs for so much less.

so i see all of your guys posts about how 7brew is terrible 🥲 i completely understand that not everyone’s experience is the same. i genuinely love this job so much. but i think i have literally the best manager ever and such great coworkers. what is it that you guys don’t like? ive seen a lot about how it can be cliquey!! which i do agree with. just curious! :)

Hi all! I work at stand #269. I have told my manager that I am unable to work weekends because of my grandfather. He is dying, he has progressing dementia and I am the one who looks out for him of the weekends and makes sure that he doesn’t hurt himself and gets his medication.

Last week I had the Rhino Virus, I had a fever and was able to get the day I called off excused, however I was still carrying a fever at the end of the day and called my local urgent care to see if I could get the note extended to the next which, which I couldn’t. I ended up calling off WAY*** ***before four hours in advance because I don’t think it would be a good idea for me to come in, be around customers, be in the cold, and serve. at the end of my shift the day after I called off again, I was written up, I really did try to act like it wasn’t a big deal, but I still can’t wrap my head around it.

Halloween falls on a weekend this year, and weekends are not in my availability, and I’ve really been stressing that to the, what I would call “assistant manager” because my grandpa truly is all I have left of my grandpa. I took a nap after getting off a 5-11Am today, and woke up to a text saying that if we don’t sign up for a Halloween shift, that we will be scheduled per her, and if we call off, or don’t come in it’s “immediate consequence.”

I’m really scared, I don’t know what this means, but I really need to be there for my grandpa. Does this mean that I’ll get fired immediately? I don’t want to lose this job because me and my dad and mom all woke but my mom usually works weekends. I don’t know what to do, I don’t know how to stop panicking and worrying about it.

Does anyone else have problems with last minute schedule changes that are not communicated to you? I’ve been at my stand a bit over a month or so now and heard of this happening to my coworkers, but wasn’t sure how much it happens. 2 hours ago I checked to see what time I work tomorrow to plan the rest of my day and what time I should head to bed, and saw my shift started at 6am tomorrow. I just checked again, just browsing my schedule for the rest of the week, and noticed it was changed to an opening (5:15am). I know it’s only 45 minutes but I’m honestly annoyed because I wasn’t asked or communicated with, even though I likely would’ve said yes anyway if I had been asked. I saw after the fact that the scheduling app had sent me a notification saying my schedule had been changed, but I had missed that at first, thankfully I’m just a person who looks at the schedule a bunch every day. Idk, I get it’s my responsibility to double and triple check what time I work, but it being changed the day before without any contact is just…
And our stand manager is very nice but I also am just not confrontational to be able to bring it up and I know it’s happened several times before to other people so idk. Just wondering if this has happened to others/if anyone can relate

Hi! I recently had an interview at 7 brew and did the whole onboarding process, but I filled all of that out a week ago now and haven't heard anything back. I don't have anyone's phone number or email to get in touch with them, should I just drive up there and ask when I can start?

I wanna make him go to 7brew with me lol I love 7brew but he’s a Dunkin person. I don’t love overly sweet drinks so at 7brew I always get anything half sweet and sugar free! But his Dunkin order is a XL hot coffee with 8butter pecan 4 cream. He likes flavor lol.

Does anyone have any hot latte recommendations for him that would be like that? He likes nutty/carmel-y flavors!

My orientation is on Tuesday!! Any tips/ advice and what to expect? What should i wear? Am i going to actually working or just shadowing? Etc. my manager isn’t the best at communicating and has given me literally no info on any of this 😭

I'm a Brewista at a newer stand, but I have a knack for just remembering stuff. I've gotten a lot of the secret menu flavors down, even some of the less popular ones. I've just ordered in the app and browsed the flavors a lot. I mostly order the fizzes, so I'm more knowledgeable about the fruity secret menu flavors, but as it gets colder, I normally start ordering more Chais, so I've dipped into the good chai flavors as well. One flavor I noticed in particular is French Vanilla. It says it's vanilla and caramel, but everybody and their mother knows that that's just Blondie. I had someone order it from me once and thought they were just talking about the actual flavor French Vanilla because torani makes one, we just don't have it in the stand, so I just rang up a vanilla latte, the next time I had someone order it, I noticed it in the secret menu and then just saw it was vanilla and caramel. Is it somehow a situation like the Brewchatta vs Snickerdoodle? They're the same flavor, but Brechatta is specifically a chai and it's made with almond milk? Can someone tell me, I'm genuinely curious.

I recently started going to 7 brew. While the idea of 3 flavors per drink is wild to me, I do get a custom iced vanilla latte half sweet that has been pretty good! I was going through their menu and saw the protein boost you can add to drinks. I was curious to know what the source of protein is. For anyone with dietary restrictions or allergies, it is 100% collagen sourced from porcine (pork). It’s not whey or plant based. Collagen won’t support muscle growth if that’s the reason you’re adding this in, just fyi.

Is there any 7B people that can tell me how to make a trickshot energy at home? I have everything to make it, just don’t know how much syrup to put in it. Also, the white chocolate in it, is it the liquid syrup or the sauce?! TIA 😊

Any other Brewistas feel like their coworkers are cliquey asf and you kinda are just the wallflower. Tonight I closed and literally this group of three people were in their own world doing nothing that they didn’t even notice I had cleaned and shut down my machine completely I did my own dishes and everything cause I was tired of asking nicely and just being ignored and when they did hand me some clean portafilters I just looked at them and said “I already did it” very plainly cause I was tired of being whispered about when I asked if someone could please clean something cause I was on front milk so I couldn’t stop in the middle of making a drink to clean a drain. Am I crazy I dont care really what others think of me I’m not everyone’s cup of tea I am loud and I have a twang, I’m blunt, and even a bit of a smartass. I feel like I’m not a jerk for trying to just get things done so we could all go home.

I saw on TikTok the stands were getting new energy cans, all week my energy has not had the energy taste but instead tasted watered down??? Is this true ?? I loved my energies!

I like to order my energy using the sugar-free can, but then add in regular flavorings so it doesn't taste TOO sugar-free. Recently, a brewista said that they just look at the can and will do all SF scoops then. She also said you can't order it that way in the app, and I replied that I've had no issues ordering it that way for a couple of months now. Someone else told me I can order it that way, and they should make it with the combo of SF and regular. Is there any way to ensure I get my drink the way I want it, or is it just dependent on IF the person making it actually reads it???

It’s never got enough coffee flavor. Just super sweet milk. How do I order this? If I get espresso shots added, will it be too hot/not frozen?
