META Oliveira's recent video: mass report it at the following timestamps

You can get these right wing creators' YouTube videos taken down. I did this once before with another major right wing creator, but it's hard since YouTube doesnt consistently do anything about it.

There's a difference between someone making a documentary, and someone snidely seeding xenophobia and racism, as this guy is doing throughout the video.

The key is to find the most objectionable parts of the video and report those timestamps, stating that they blatantly go against Youtube's rules.

I haven't seen the full video, but reporting at the following timestamps should help:

44:30-44:35- blatant racist charicatures

44:52-45:04- blatantly racist charicature content

46:35- filming people in a private company while they're openly stating they don't want to be recorded

54:27- racist disinformation- he states there's an "India-fication of America"- blatantly inciting xenophobic stereotypes which have zero basis in reality.

56:33- They're pretending to do official audits of random IT employees, entering their homes, and filming their personal living spaces without their consent.

56:45- They interviewed this man and posted his exact apartment address right in the video along with his exact salary. This is major, they're actually doxxing the guy they're interviewing.

(wtf!! ^ )

1:07:46- Oliveira refers to a Mexican female as "a torta", a rude slang term for an overweight short Latin woman.

1:11:24- The interviewee blatantly states "Any of those guys that are simping for the Indians or the immigration lawyers, f*** you, this is America this is my nation, this is my kids inheritance, f*** you". This is an incredibly racist and xenophobic series of remarks. It's explicitly targeting an entire racial group.

Feel free to give other timestamps in the comments if there are others.

They need to suck up to their right wing "allies"

This is what scares me so much. i feel in this punch on Poc x minorities race, indians are gonna be left with no help whatsoever. mosques have been very active when it comes to community formation, and working with larger community.

We formed no other solidarity with other community groups / orgs.

our community spaces are busy celebrating festivals but literally have no other moral stands except embracing ethno-nationalistic BS

There should be one large (secular) pan-South Asian organization that focuses on human rights, both in South Asia / North America and globally. South Asians are actually in numerous key positions where everyone can act as a unit to leverage wider society and create change.

The biggest issues are the community being naturally fragmented, and if that's overcome, outside organizations would work to undermine it.

an organization now cant work in south asia. New govt rules will make it impossible for 'international orgs to operate in the country' where human rights are the focus.

Even the vatican is worried about those new rules.

u/Joshistotle Apr 08 '26

In the US / Canada an organization like that would be normal and could definitely extend its reach within South Asia as people can leverage their contacts / network.

u/ibarmy Apr 08 '26

ya there needs to be one which is something sane-ish like ACLU sorts but ya it will be a broad mandate.

There are, especially in large cities but they are left-wing so that poses a problem for those that wanna suck up to the right-wing ( as someone above already mentioned).

Mamdani's victory had a lot to do with getting Desis people out and voting, of all nationalities and creeds. Orgs like DRUM and others grassroots working class South Asian orgs.

It's not really fair to compare the two religions. Muslims come from many different countries and ethnic backgrounds while the overwhelming majority of Hindus are Indian which makes it much harder to build intersectional coalitions

2

u/ibarmy Apr 07 '26

well there are no pan-indian level coalitions either tbh.

They do exist but it's within the local level. I'm from Chicago and Illinois politicians like Tammy Duckworth make speeches at big Hindu events come election time to try and garner support. These events are filled with families who originated from many different parts of India.

Another big reason for why Muslims have such a strong coalition compared to Hindus is the apathy a lot of us second and third gen Indians have towards religion. I don't know a single ABCD who goes to temple more than a few times a year and that's always at the behest of parents. We don't build bonds and community at Mandirs like Muslims do at Mosques or Christians do at Church. Sure we'll have fun with Holi, Diwali, and weddings but most of us aren't actively religious, it's not something we feel strongly tied to

The vast majority of immigrant groups are extremely insular tbh but they can get away with it for various reasons and a lot of it comes down to being Christian and their ethnic groups having (relatively compared to us) long standing ties to this country. Hinduism and Indian culture in general is so foreign and different so we stand out a lot from that alone

All of these Hindu American organizations are Hindu Nationalists at their core. They love Republicans because of their hatred for Muslims, and if you see any discourse online from Hindu-specific organizations or activists fighting back against MAGA racism, 99% of the time their argument isn't "hatred is wrong", it's "Why do you hate us, you should be hating the Muslims instead". I can't take any of these idiots seriously.

There are plenty of liberal, secular Hindu Americans out there, but given the fact that they're secular, they often don't have a desire to engage in explicitly religious political organizations, which leads to many of these "Hindu advocacy groups" being mostly right-wing.

nothing will happen. the internet does not care about anti indian racism and instead encourages it

I'm not subjecting myself to that video, or the embarrassment, that comes with having to admit I've seen it

I support you on your mission, to tear him a new one though. Good luck.

Unless he talks about jews, youtube probably wont care.

Youtube doesn't remove stuff unless it's really really bad

YouTube doesn’t care about these types of videos unless a Government or someone with power complains. If that were the case someone like Tyler would’ve been banned long ago. They’re too much of a pussy and don’t wanna anger the millions of “muh it’s pattern recognition” crowd.

u/Fit-Breadfruit4801 Apr 12 '26

He's already done like 9 videoes talking about some Indian invasion or whatever.... does he really need to post more like we get your point (Talking about tyler not you OP)

u/Fuzzy-Debate5914 Apr 13 '26

Loool, this is pathetic. Why are you people swarming to get a video taken down??

-12

u/ytgy Apr 07 '26

I saw the video on my recommended feed. Which area of Texas is it and does that area actually have an issue of Indians not assimilating?

These right wing influencers have one goal: increasing xenophobia to distract the public, so the people influencing politicians can continue siphoning US taxpayer funds to....a foreign state.

They are paid per video by organizations like The Shillman Foundation, David Horowitz Freedom Center, and others to push this content. They're also associated with NGOs like "The Gatestone Institute" (Alan Dershowitz is associated with this one) and "American Friends of the Open University" (Rothschild family associated with this one). These are all designed to push xenophobic content. You can guess which foreign power is directly linked to these organizations.

The "documentary" focuses on a few cities. I didn't watch the whole thing. The gist of the video is that South Asians shouldn't be here and should leave. That's the unspoken general understanding, and it's coincidentally released at the same time as the "documentary" by Blaze Media ( right wing organization owned by Glenn Beck and Mark Levin) stoking xenophobia against South Asians.

The Shillman foundation (and the founder Shillman himself) have funded the following xenophobic influencers and groups, and / or is associated with the following groups:

Brigitte Gabriel´s ACT!, James O’Keefe‘s Project Veritas, Frontpage magazines, Rebel News (Canada), Tommy Robinson (UK), Dutch politician Geert Wilders, Laura Loomer, Raheem Kassam, Katie Hopkins, The David Horowitz Freedom Center associated with Ben Shapiro, Australian Liberty Alliance, The Middle East Forum thinktank, Bnai Brith (linked to Les Wexner, Epstein's close associate) etc.

As you can see, there's a coordinated effort by linked organizations across multiple developed countries to push xenophobic rhetoric.

16

u/TheSeptimiusSeverus Apr 07 '26

That's some serious organised effort. That video got over a million views already. It has even more bullshit than the bits you point out.

This is a tinfoil hat theory used by the far right to not take accountability and shift the blame when the ship sinks. Do not believe this, this is what the Germans started with back when in early 20th century.

They (the racists and right) like it, they’ll eat it up with a golden spoon, no one forces them to consume this and no one forces them to do what they do at the polls. Media is money. The agenda is out there because people genuinely enjoy it now, not because someone forces them to sit and watch it.

They’re genuinely racist deep down, they aren’t influenced by anyone but their environment and families. There’s a reason why cities are progressive in their beliefs, they live with each other and can use their own eyes.

1

u/nyse25 Apr 07 '26

both things can be and are true

1

u/Joshistotle Apr 08 '26

Bull. Those are documented organizations that are linked and push right wing viewpoints. There's no "conspiracy" when they do all of that right out in the open.

It’s Frisco and it doesn’t really bring up assimilation very much, just kind of vaguely gestures at it.

If anything it shows an Indian American city council member and Indian kids in Boy Scouts, which to me shows how Indians are assimilating pretty well

I watched the whole thing and it’s bizarre because he makes a lot of claims for invasion and spends most of the video showing that companies legally farm out H1B workers to other companies.

And also spends a weird amount of time showing Indian owned cars with student driver stickers? Like yeah people arrive here as adults and learn to drive, what was the point of that 5 minutes of video

19

u/HunchoKanye Apr 07 '26

Uncle Tom ass question

-4

u/ytgy Apr 07 '26

Oh I'm in Fremont, California and no the ABCDs here think a lot of Indians never bothered to assimilate.

This is what happens when you only live online. Go touch grass man.

7

u/midsumernighttts Apr 07 '26

Do you think none of those people hate you in real life? That they just do it online only lol

u/dsv853 Apr 11 '26

the scariest part about these videos isnt the views... its that the people processing your visa applications consume the same media. consular officers are american citizens who go home and scroll the same youtube.

ive been tracking how this political climate is showing up in actual visa interviews for indian applicants. the data is not great: https://www.reddit.com/r/USVisaIndians/comments/1sgluwm/
