It happens enough for them to be banned by entire countries and cities, insurers, parks, dog daycares, nevermind the mounds of peer-reviewed studies showing that they’re over represented in pediatric dog bite injuries and cause the most severe injuries by far. They’re literally NOT known for loyalty or affection, they’re known for what they were selectively bred for - bloodsports like bull baiting and dog fighting.

Not to say they’re all bad, but making excuses to distract from reality of history and selective breeding is delusional.
